What Do Jehovah's Witnesses Have Right OR Wrong?
by Flash inbiblicaly speaking that is.
we know their cult mentality with all its manipulation tactics and abusive authority is wrong.
but as far as their understanding of the bible, what do you believe they have right or wrong?.
-
Flash
Flash, sounds like you agree tooooooooo much with that cult? I believe only what I read in the Bible...so I don't care what an organization says.
We're not so differant, I also care more about what the Bible says than what any organization says. I am open to consider differant views, then I'll decide for myself what I believe is true and live accordingly.

After all the wts crap, do any of you still believe in Jehovah?
by ButtLight ini have learned alot about the wts.
and disagree with allot of it.
but i still believe in jah.
-
Flash
But I still believe in Jah. Is that Weird?
No its not weird. The ancient Israelites had the 'truth' about God and didn't hold fast to it. Just because His people today are making the same mistake doesn't mean we should hold it against Jehovah personaly. We can leave the WTS because of their gross error and still stay close to Jehovah as indivduals.

If you could give me "only one" reason why not to be in the truth..........
by ButtLight inwhat would it be?
-
Flash
That's a tuff one for me because with the Witnesses you have a mix of bible truth, faulty human reasoning and a very controling cult mentality from GB to Newbie. The challenge is to distinguish and seperate them and then only hold on to the bible truth.

w72 5/15 p. 320 Questions from Readers *** ...evidently, for the Examiner of hearts to view him as righteous, Lot must also have grieved over the wrong conduct in which he himself got involved.
And they know this...HOW?? Who said Lot was ever aware of what happend that night at all???
Also, isn't Uzzah doomed to remain dead for all enternity now? According to the WTS view that anyone directly executed by God doesn't deserve a resurrection?? How about the all the Israelites that were executed by God after David took his census? I think this puzzel is missing some of its pieces.

A Pivotal Date: March 20
by ezekiel3 ini am just giggling myself inside out with the stupid antics regarding the march 20 release of the new org book.. of course, in great irony, only the apostates seem to know what's going on.. meanwhile in the congregations, a excitment tinged with mystery and suspense is tweaking the r&f.
my entire book study was just about begging the conductor for any hint.. to emphasize the surprise, congregations that meet on saturday (march 19) are actually moving their public/wt meetings to sunday just for the event.
just imagine the drool letdown when they find out the truth, that old br.

The title translates:
"Organized To Do Jehovah's Will."Now that's a LIE! 'The Will of the GB/WTS' is what it should read!!

Your commentary is, as always, right on Blondie.
This article has irritated me also, so if you don't mind me 'piping up' some.
jehovah always does what IS right "Jehovah is righteous in all his ways."-Psalm 145:17. (NWT) Everything GOD does is right--the trademark on all his works is love.?Psalm 145:17 (The Message Bible)
Yes, Jehovah always does what is right...That does not mean however He has no options to choose from that also qualify as being righteous and just. It seems to be a question of degree. IE: The flood of Noah's day. Afterward God lamented that He would never destroy every living thing again because of the wickedness of mankind AND placed a Rainbow in the cloud as a reminder to Himself not to do it. So He could have chosen not to flood the earth at all and still handle the situation 'righteously and justly.' Would have any Angel in heaven or Noah himself been wrong in questioning Jehovah about what He was about to do? Was Abraham wrong when he questioned God at length about destroying Sodom and Gomorah? Are our children wrong to question us as their parents when they don't agree or are concerned or don't understand our decisions? Are we, both Angels and Humans, not His children??
Yet, seeing his beloved Son suffer and die on a torture stake must have caused Jehovah the greatest possible pain. What does this tell us about God?
That He has not exempted Himself from being tested to the limit. No other option would test God as much as would experiancing the loss and witnessing the torturous death of His Son.
So while humans are made in God's image and are "endowed with attributes like those of God", they cannot understand what is just and right because humans are imperfect.
Our imperfection (as the WTS pointed out in the past) has to do with our ability to adhere to God's laws flawlessly. It is our relitive position to our Creator not our imperfection that clouds our understanding at times. We're like small children to Him and what small child can understand or discern the same way their parents can?
19 We need to remember that it is impossi-ble for Jehovah to act unjustly. (Job 34:10) For him to do so would be unloving, and we know from our study of the Bible as a whole that "God is love." (1 John 4:8) In addition, the Scriptures tell us that "righteousness and judgment are the established place of [God's] throne." (Psalm 89:14) How, then, could Jehovah ever act unjustly? If he were to do so, he would be undermining the very foundation of his sovereignty.
Correct, and life itself.
.....................................................................
I love these the best Blondie,
Whatever the case, we can be sure that Jehovah did what was right. He likely saw something in Uzzah's heart that caused Him to render swift judgment.-Proverbs 21:2.
Now who is judging motives and actions without all the facts? Translation: Reformers of the WTS = Uzzah
Now hasn't this been the tune the WTS has been singing lately; don't worry if you don't understand what they are saying (because you are not as smart as they are). Just trust them to always do what is right. The WTS/FDS ALWAYS DOES WHAT IS RIGHT AND WHEN IT DOESN'T PLEASE REFER TO UZZAH IN YOUR BIBLE. Love, Blondie

Giving $ is voluntary. No Tithing...However, the real price you and your family will pay is the gradual loss of your individuality, your freedom and your critical thinking ability.
It's no small price to pay, and God doesn't require it, this price is demanded from haughty, self-righteous humans!!
Keep your distance and don't let their harmless demeanor fool you.
