yet another circuit assembly hall is going to be sold off!.

they've been reducing the amount of congregations assigned to meet there and using the times when it isn't in use to make repairs.

elders have now been informed that they are selling off the property and buildings and that circuits would be assigned to attend other sites, twice as far, three or four hours away, like montreal.

As a teenager in the early 90's even as I was getting ready to be baptized, I did not believe and I did not want to live in paradise forever... it is weird... I just wanted a good life in this world.... the perfect world did not appeal to me at all... yet I got baptized to make my family happy and find a girlfriend

i work with a JW and he doesnt know im an inactive

so i started working at this place 4 years ago.. and i am usually myself a still-in inactive atheist jw at work.

after several months i came to realize the guy i work with is a devout jw... im always afraid of running into him in the conventions.. he is in a different circuit but im afraid he might show up in one of the district conventions.. i am dreading that day...

so i started working at this place 4 years ago.. and i am usually myself a still-in inactive atheist jw at work.

after several months i came to realize the guy i work with is a devout jw... im always afraid of running into him in the conventions.. he is in a different circuit but im afraid he might show up in one of the district conventions.. i am dreading that day...

I am not too worried.. but if I am found to be a JW with a double-life by my co-worker jw and he tells on me... then im gonna have to deal with my beliefs and tell the kingdom to f-off... which will upset my family... thats all.

Well we are in the same group and will be weird.. and if he tells on me then i will have to deal with the situation with the eldubs and get into a whole mess with the brainwashed wife.

im just afraid he'll be shocked and then run to the eldubs and tell on me.. not that i have revealed my beliefs to anyone.. i swear a bit here and there.. and dont shave all the time.. i go to the holiday parties and eat cake... etc.

there was another one from the 90's one about "jehovah's witnesses.. preaching in the snowy mountains" and 3 volume "accurate prophesies - reliable bullshit" something like that.. anyone have those?
