Shunned twice today! How's it for you?

As many times as you allow it to happen,.....and don't be intimidated Christmas shopping,I worked in dept store and can tell you how many JWS compromise Christmas,celebrating one day early or one day later.they buy all the Christmas goodies and enjoy,but call it something else.
one pioneer sister celebrated in October,saying this was when Jesus was born she would place Gifts at the foot of the bed.I also was invited to TURKEY DINNER.not Christmas but on Christmas day ???see how they bend the rules...
Why not wish them merry Christmas next time they shun you....

Well i certainly thought I did,one especially we went on holidays kids grew up went everywhere,I was the loyal one as it turned out,she was the first one who attacked me verbally,told me i was satans person,showed me HATE for questioning the org:She had been dsfd twice yet i broke the rules and gave her help.she is still a loyal JW was re-instated.........FAIR WEATHER FRIENDS..........who needs them...........she told me I was no longer her friend why?because i spoke out against the WT.

They have nothing to loose by shunning
by garybuss inif my attitude toward the shunners is to be waiting for them with a full pardon, waiting for them to quit shunning me so i can shower them with love as their reward for being jerks, they have nothing to lose by continuing the shunning.
they don't have a dog in the fight.
if children who shun parents were notified by the parents that they will loose their inheritance if they continue the shunning, all of a sudden they have something to loose by shunning.. .

I used to bow my head and look away,guilt,shame,fear,call it what you will.But the more i found out about mind-control I learned not to play their games.Now I start to talk especially if they are in public,some answer,for they are suprised you are not playing the game.Their body language is defensive,they are unsure,I feel sorry for the rank and file for are they not doing what we once did,thinking we were obeying God.?
Reach out to them in love,and don't be intimidated.............JWS live in a bubble....they are told to this is how they are controlled.

What is the Purpose of this Site - My personal opinion?
by jst2laws ini was a little surprised to learn that many people do not really understand the purpose of jwd.
many are focused on freedom of speech and the fact that this is a "discussion" board.
to some this does seem to go against the heavy moderating the board has seen lately, feeling that discussion is suppressed, some going so far as to suggest that mind control is subtly involved here as in the organization.

In the short time i have accessed the internet,looked on sites,I have found some to be helpful others not,control is there,i suppose a measure of control is necessary,however for some this may be the only place they have to talk,I came out of JWS without the help of the Internet,did not have computer,many others did too.
One has to be discerning,help is available,some people need to talk about very personal things,counselling would be necessary,someone who would be unshockable.I do not know how it works yet on this site.I have gone through my trials and have received help.So I know the journey out is very difficult for some....fran
