my cat is a little sick (all sorts of nasty things coming out the business end .
i was also given some pills that need to be administered once a day... but she will pitch an absolute fit when i try to stick it down her mouth.
she always manages to bring it back up and slobber it onto the floor.

11- The biggest change I've noticed here on the South Coast of B.C. is the number of new cars parked outside the halls. Maybe there is money in cleaning buildings, or else the Society has lightened up on people getting into debt; or maybe more witnesses are ignoring the advice from headquarters.
3-Other- The witnesses all seem to be so much younger.(I bet they are cleaning big corporate offices and can afford new cars)

Just tell them you enjoy chatting with them, but you have no intention in joining the Watch Tower. If they decide your company is no longer acceptable, drop them and get on with your life. Better to lose a couple of customers now,(you can always find other clients), than to lose friends and family and probably your self respect, all of which can be difficult, even impossible to recover.

Well Oz, When I started studying, the thought never occurred to me. As time passed however, I would periodically (and secretly) wonder why God would choose someone from the USA to carry out His plan. My answer always seemed to be "OPPORTUNITY". Yes that was it; the US is the land of opportunity and naturally what better place to establish the groundwork for preaching the New World Order. It made sense then, NOW is a different story.Now I realize it doesn't matter where it starts, it's all a load anyway.

It would be foolish and arrogant to claim there are no cliques in a congregation. People naturally gravitate to people of similar backgrounds or interests, JW's included. Having said that, it always bothered Mrs. alfie and I that certain congregations seemed to have a bigger problem than others with this issue. It was so bad in one of the halls in which we served, it actually caused such terrific divisions and resentment among the congregation, to the point that an entire body of elders had to be removed and as far as we know, to this day there are still people who refuse to have anything to do with each other and there is actual hatred between them. A sad commentary on a group that claims to follow the words at John 13:35.

i am wondering if what i saw on tv is just my imagination or if others have seen it too.
a commercial for jehovah's witnesses.
i was not really paying attention to the tv as i was engaged in a couple of things, but the ad was similar to those mormon ads except that this one ended with an invitation to contact jehovahs witnesses instead.
