My poor friend, dude you are being pulled and pushed. WHAT EVER YOU DO, YOU HAVE TO TRY TO THINK CLEARLY. THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS IN YOUR LIFE. If you are not totally happy wait if this woman really loves you she needs to give you time. You CAN'T go into somthing this huge without knowing for sure what you want. Trust me as someone who is recently divorced it costs you a lot money, mental health, Physical health and friends. You need to be sure. You have to be true to your feelings first so you are happy. If you don't do this you will have a hard time lasting in a relationship. Go take a trip for the weekend clear your mind and refind yourself. BEST WISHES TO YOU MY FRIEND

has a jw every told you that, or have you ever heard a jw accuse other's who leave of that?.

sometimes i wonder if some jws do not have a very dark side to their personalities... a blood lust even.

i have literally had them confess to me that they would be like a wild animal if it was not for being in the borg... even inclined to kill for pleasure.

That is exactly why i left. I left because i was NEVER happy in the borg. I hated going to the meetings and being made to fell like shite because i was not a pioneer or a MS or an elder. I busted my a$$ for years to make the elders in the cong happy. I think that there was a point that I was doing the sound or carrying the mic for about 2 years straight at the meetings but they never once thanked me for it. They are demanding and when you can't do anymore they push you asside for the next piece of meat.

I also hated Knocking on a strangers door on their precious weekends and bothering them to get their money for stupid magazines that they were going to throw away anyways.

I did not like having them up my a$$ for everything that i ever wanted to do.

i have always thought that its stupid and its trying to pry into peoples lives.

This is done so that you are not tempted to give in to sexual urges mostly. But it is also used many times to just be in other peoples bussiness. My ex wifes mom never wanted us to be with each other with her not around she was even afraid to go to take a piss lest we might grope each other. So we just did it behind her back.

I am a fairly trusting person I will trust most people until i get burned by them. If you burn me payback it a bitch. I now am not afraid to show my identity I don't have anything to hide.

Did you ever lead a double life?

those of you who are now x-jws, did you ever lead a double life while you were "in"?

did you have "worldly" friends, watch r rated movies, drive fast cars and do other things you weren't supposed to do, yet believed you were a "good" jw because you belived in the truth, "put in time", and attended meetings?

if you did, how long did it take you to see the truth about the truth and leave?

I guess I was kinda spineless now that i look back at myself. I lived a double life from when I was about 13 to up till I was 26 I was always afraid to let my friends and family down so I lied to them to try to keep them happy all the time I was cheating myself and making it harder i think in the long run to break things off without hurting people more. I just could not keep up the act anymore I was stressing myself out too much. Now that I look back on things I know I could have prevented a lot of heartache and missery in life if I would have stopped the act and had just been myself.

May I rant please

not sure if it is the big 40 approaching or just a general disgust of the world but i find myself very angry of late.

mostly due to the crap in the world around us.

i am sick of hearing on the news that people have killed their family, friends or strangers.

I know exactly what you are saying. I wish that thse a$$holes would be hung from the nearest tree. they should not ever have the opportunity to hurt anyone again. My friend at work his daughter was with another ex friend of mine, he got her drunk and drugged her and when she was wasted he raped her. He told me later that he had sex with my friend's daughter and not to tell him. This guy was a dumbass if he did not think that i was not going to tell my friend that this 31 yr old man had sex with his 14 yr old daughter. When this went to trial, the prosecuters did not push for hardly any punnishment for this creep, and he got to plea in exchange for with 5 yrs probation. This guy was harrassing her the whole time up until the trial and was making threats against all of the people involved with the trial. He even tried to get me fired at my job by making stories up about me. I swear that if i EVER see him again there will be justice served.

berlin, germany (reuters) -- a german brewery has developed a beer containing vitamins and minerals it says are designed to slow the aging process.

the neuzeller kloster brewery plans to introduce its "anti-aging-bier" this year and sell it in grocery and drug stores, a spokesman for the company said friday.. "it tastes like beer more than it tastes like anything else," the spokesman told reuters.. the brewery said the beer contained a host of added ingredients that promote good health.. but the german government may object to the brewery calling the drink "beer" since a law dating back to 1516 says beer brewed in germany can only be made from barley, hops, yeast and water.

AHHHH the road to alcoholism just got much better
