How do you get DISASSOCIATED ?

i know if you have a blood transfusion, or send in a letter of da you get kicked out, but are there any other situations where the elders can da?.

hey another parent here - dad of four wonderfully normal children - and having personally been blessed with never having been 'blessed' with a position of responsibility ... if you see what i mean ... i used to hate taking my children home at a late hour in the dark and often in pouring rain - as you said - a good refernece for the religion to all who were tweaking their net curtains ... good to be free and getting free-er as i benefit from the fellowship and association of all you very cool folk ...

I'm a new study, unsure a little uncertain. Help??
by Meow921 ini recently started doing some studying of jehovahs witnesses, and i find most everything so logical, and the people involved have been so nice to me.
i'm 30, and currently am not associated with any denomination.. what i don't understand is how the word "cross" got translated into the bible if it's not right.
aren't we supposed to believe the bible?.

hmm ... beards huh ? here in the uk elders wear beards - speak from the platform with whiskers ... whiskering ! ... so WHAT IS that all about huh ? ... well i was baptised 1983 and 'fell away' three years ago (long story that i'll relate when i know y'all better) but i've really only just started on the 'road to recovery' - feelings of guilt are still almost overwhelming - but i bought 'crisis' online three days ago and waiting for the delivery - hope to speak to you in the chatroom jeremy - and all you other good people too ...

forgive me if i sound too cautious here and perhaps i haven't read all these postings correctly, but, if she is totally commited to the 'truth' then i can't see that she would even be looking outside of the congregation - and even if, as it seems she has - the elders would clamp down big time surely ? If they didn't clamp down immediately - they wouldn't allow arelationship to continue without taking their disciplinary action - so the religion would then not be an issue anyway as she would be disfellowshipped ...
