Stuffing or Dressing?
by reneeisorym indo ya'll all realize that in the south we eat dressing and not stuffing?
these are two different things.. i hate stuffing!
i used to have to eat it when my ex-husband's grandmother cooked it.

Why is it that the believers in dressing continually attack the stuffing supporters on this site? Instead of embracing an aura of acceptance and live and let live, they nit-pick at the tiniest detail (for example, FLOUR) and try to break the spirit of the stuffing advocates.
No scientific data backs up this new-fangled idea of dressing. Far from it, in fact it is written in the divine book of recipes that from early on, man ripped berries from the vine and stuffed them in the *cough* cavity of the wild turkeys they roasted over their open fires, hence the term "stuffing".
It is apparent that there is a secret clique of dressing-eaters that meet regularly to compare
notescookbooks and mock us stuffing lovers.This place just isn't the same anymore.

Some of us had the molester at home ... and were left unprotected. Good for you for not going back, but if you have knowledge of this you are obligated to contact the authorities. It is the only decent thing to do. Trust me, there will be no decency amongst the ranks. Please stand up for those with no voices.

If by my *knife of condemnation*, you are referring to my statement they are paying a terrible price for leaving their 3 children alone at night in an unlocked room ... guilty as charged. There is no doubt that they did exactly that ... and they themselves express huge remorse for doing so. What a burden to bear.
I did not in this thread nor anywhere else condemn them for knowing what happened to her. I personally don't believe they were involved other than making the opportunity available by their negligence. I also agree that the courts may ultimately decide...but unless more evidence emerges, I don't see this case reaching a court.

As far as leaving their children alone, they are paying the heavy price of every day they awaken and know she is gone due to their incompetence. That is a price they deserve to pay and must be a terrifically horrible burden.
There was an interesting television spot on it last night with interviews of Spanish police, the McCann's friends and family, and an independent investigator hired by the network who ultimately concluded that while there was obvious negligence, there wasn't evidence to support the case that the parents were involved. -

now the time has come for me to leave - i am now able to put 35 years of jw living completely out of my head.. .
many factors have helped me, and jwd was an important part of that, and i will always be grateful to simon for setting up this forum.. .

I think you have to be significantly better than mediocre, doing SOMETHING right, to land a contract with Atlantic Records at 18 years of age. Lots and lots of people are listening. Here in America, "New Shoes," the buoyant first single from "THESE STREETS," is currently blowing up at Triple A radio. The track - which was recently iTunes' "Single of the Week" - is now No 1 at the format, while also entering the top 40 at Hot AC outlets nationwide. What's more, VH1 has named Paolo its latest "You Oughta Know" artist, placing his "New Shoes" video in "You Oughta Know" rotation through the month of March. Previous VH1 YOK artists include KT Tunstall, Corrine Bailey Rae, the Fray, and Regina Spektor. Released January 30th, "THESE STREETS" is already shaping up as the first full-fledged critical smash of the New Year. Both People and USA Today awarded the album three-and-a-half stars, with the latter hailing "the breadth of talent (Nutini) shows... a series of thoughtful, evocative tunes that defy easy characterization." The New York Daily News noted that "voices like Nutini's come around just a few times in a generation." not exactly mediocrity.
