  Believe me the other scripture they tried to send me about this situation was the one about those who get drunk get drunk at night -- I sent them a letter back stating the drunk s does not appy to my situation. If you read the context of the Rom 13 prior to the verses it is plan it is an illustration. of course I also found another bible rending of the verse and it reads this way

  13:12 The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So don't live in darkness. Get rid of your evil deeds. Shed them like dirty clothes. Clothe yourselves with the armor of right living, as those who live in the light.

  13:13 We should be decent and true in everything we do, so that everyone can approve of our behavior. Don't participate in wild parties and getting drunk, or in adultery and immoral living, or in fighting and jealousy. Wow want a difference -- but I took it a step further -- we all remember the story of Joseph -- what time of day was it when he was tempted by the scriptures say mid day. What time was it when the Irealites committed adultery -- it was in the evening. Then I dropped this scripture on them Micah 2:3 "Woe to those scheming what is harmful, and those practicing what is bad, upon their beds ! by the light of morning they proceed to do it, because it is in the power of their hands. They did not write back to me -- but of course little old me can not be right -- it would not be good for them to admit I am right-- I knew it was all in vain but it was fun reading their responses.

  Okay -- I see no one wants to post here is the scripture they used

  Romans 13:12, 13 "The night is well along; the day has drawn near. Let us therefore put off the works belonging to darkness and let us put on the weapons of light. As in the daytime let us walk decently, not in revelries and drunken bouts, not in illicit intercourse and loose conduct, not in strife and jealous.

  This is the scripture the society sent to me to provide the principle for the statment in the "flock book"

  I was told that there is a scriptural principle for the above quote from the "Pay attention to the Flock Book". If some one can find the scriptural princple I would like to know where it is. I was given a scripture by the society and by an elder, I will share this scriptures and get everyones thoughts on it after a few post. Then even later After getting the response from people -- I will let you know what scriptures I used to show them -- adultery can happen during the day as well. Of course they could not respond to the scriptures I showed them in an inelligent manner. (This will be interesting) I am awaiting everyone post.

  i understand from talking to some one who had some knowledge of the situation but could not find the reference material , that the society has something in writing which says if a person believes they are scripturally free and that they are willing to stand before jehovah and face the consquences they can get married -- (this in effect leave the elders out of the equation and they can not do anything to you.

  ) does anyone know where this reference can be found -- i need it as soon as possible.

  i can not find it.

  Ending to my story the elders did not accept the letter of course what did I expect. I guess I should have just committed adultery and said how sorry I am and I would not be in this situation -- but no I want to do the right thing and play by there rules and all becasue I want to get married I will be out side -- oh well -- that is just the way it will be -- As long as Jehovahs sees my heart and knows I want to do the right thing

  The thing that bothers me to is when they do make changes we do not see any apologies for previous mistakes for the sufferring it cause -- even the Almighty Jehovah felt hut in his heart for destroying man at the flood(Jehovah is never wrong) -- but I never see the society express such regrets -- they just make changes and kind of go oh well if it messed up your life -- then Jehovah will make it better in the new system.

  The bottom line is that the WTS leaves it down to the individual BOE to judge what is admissible.

  Thanks for the insight -- I have already faced what you are talking about. I have talked to several people in which their BOE would have taken the original information I presented to them. I have since provided more information to the elders. However, I am not going to let them keep me from getting married. When I called Bethel and spoke to the brothers there about my situation and how it was not right -- the brother had a nerve to say to me, he would have to face the same thing, I said to him no you would not have, because you have the flock book and would now how to get out of the situation. I also told him I am not afraid to be DFD as I do not see where it was showing mercy to ask people to do the impossible to prove scriptural freedom and I know the person has committed adultery. In my last letter to them, I challenged them with this line of reasoning -- I guarantee that most infidelity happened during the day like places of employment and not at night - how many married people can stay some where over night.......I see it as wanting to control a person life...

  Guys -- I agree with JT -- Witnesses will just take the information and say it was okay for the society to be a part on the UN -- one person told me it is like Paul making reference to using the world but not using it to the full( Of course why use something which is against God's purpose) -- the funny thing is -- we will all be accountable before God. I keep telling people the religious leaders lost favor before God because they added to the law -- It is not for me to judge I will see what happens when judgment day comes( I realize some may not not believe in a judgement day, but I still see the bible as being very real will live by it) -- this is just my two cent. As I have learned in my critical thinking class people will not think for themselves -- they would rather let other people tell them what to do. Also people like to feel like they belong -- therefore sometimes they will just shut their eyes to things which are not right and keep there mouth shut.

  apostates may claim to worship jehovah and to believe the bible, but they reject the visible part of his organization......under divine inspiration, the bible writers used strong words to expose the motives and the methods of apostates.. what is it that apostates want?

  This will keep people from asking about the UN and pedophile cases -- interesting they mention they don't the whole truth and yet if an outsider or someone like myselfs makes this statement I would be considered an apostate.

  Details on Files Kept in the Cong.

  what exactly is put into the file on those who are disfellowedshipped?is the information very detailed,so that others can read such details,or is it just that they have been disfellowedshipped.. for example:suppose someone have been df.for a sexual matter,brother or sister.are the details descriptive of what was committed or is just that they were df.i know that on the outside of the envelope the name is posted and that's it.but if someone were to open the folder and look inside can they get the detailed information on that person?.

  when do the elders destroy such folders?can a person who no longer wishes to come back get their records and destroy them themselves?.

  By the way -- I though the bible said a person should not keep account of injury and that Jehovah does not continually recall sins to mind -- therefore record keeping of sins would be going against Jehovah's word -- especially if it is going to be used in some possible future case against a person -- Jehovah did not remind David of his serious sin once he made other mistakes -- I wonder how Jehovahs feels about this ? Hum
