does any one have any further information on the announcement or reduction on pioneer hours?

i want to know if some one has an idea when the announcement is going to be made.

i told a friend who ask a po and the po said no way.

but i believe it is true and he just does not know yet.

The net worth of the society - help please

could some one please provide me with information on the net work of the society.

i know at one time it was listed as number 35 i believe in the top 40 largest companies in ny.

also if possible please provide me with the source of the information.

i wish we there was a search function on this board, i am sure this topic has been addressed.

but when and if you believe in the bible would it make since that there was less then a 144,000 anointed christians in the early christians times.

i mean the bible states the whole world at the time had been filled with the the teachings of the christians.

Would Jesus ?

i have been thinking about this for a while and while a lot of things posted here deal with directing at the wrong things in the org -- here is another way to look at things.

for those that do not believe in the bible or jesus -- this will not be relevant...... if jesus were here on the earth today in charge of the congregation - -would he give the elders a flock book and then tell them this is what is to be used, with out the friends knowledge when it came to judicial cases.

would he threaten ones who look at it?

this would be a good questions from readers.......having read several scriptures about how the judges heard judicial case in the public court yard..so that all would see that true justice was served and know why a person was being stoned if it should come to type of punishment...what scriptural bases does the society have for conducting judicial cases in secret and then expect everyone to shun(stone) some one with out knowing what the crime was.

i would love so see what scriptures if any they could come up with.

Question about Judical committees

if a committed has been formed for an allegation of serious sin and the person does not agree with the charge is there anything the person can do to let the elders now they do not agree with the charge and if the person is not happy with the three elders choosen for the committee is there anything that can be done before the first meeting.

also a side point, this same person presented evidence of their scriptural freedom just like the society's said is required, the elders had to deliberate over this information even though it was present just as the society stated, my friend went ahead and got married and now all of a sudden the previous information was put on the back burner and my wife and friend now face a judical committee for adultery.

is this the way elders all ways handle cases, they throw out any information which made be in the person's favor and go right for what can be found written in black and white so they do not have to think?

the opposite sex (or in the same house with a known homosexual ) under improper circumstances, is acceptable.

i was told that there is a scriptural principle for the above quote from the "pay attention to the flock book".
