... actually, connie was too nice to the jw leaders in her questions ... and i appreciate the two young ex-jw girls who connie interviewed ... they were straight forward, clear, and credible ... and they did a good job making the case ... and kudos to bill bowen for calling the watchtower's statement a bold-faced lie, because that is what it is ... the watchtower society clearly lied as to what they say their policy is, and what has been practiced in real life.

That is SOOOOOOOOOOO cool!
I've only had the oppertunity to see Phish twice -- both occasions were at the Nutter center in Dayton OH. The Nutter center is an average sized arina, and a laim one at that, so it will be great to see them perform at a smaller venue. I would bet there will be more acustic stuff, plus the feel of being that close would be awsome. Hey, do ya know if they will be playing in the Cincinnati/Dayton/Columbus, OH areas; or Indianapolis, IN or Lexington or Louisville KY would be doable, too?Edited by - aluminutty on 14 August 2002 15:24:37

Did The Times Article Make Your Paper?

yesterday, i noted the orange county register (california), someone else the santa barbara news-press (california) and still another the denver post (colorado).
today i came across it in the lexington herald (kentucky).

Is there a store in town, that you know of, that may carry back copies of the Enquirer? I know I can read it at the main library, or for that matter any of the neighborhood branches, but the issue of the print paper, containing the actual ink-on-paper article, would be a huge help. See Bobgirls family would benefit greatly from reading this article. If they saw the Times piece, their response might be different than "what in the hell are you doing in the paper", or let me ask your father if I can talk to you, which was their brilliant and supportive commentary the last time they were confronted by a Silent Lambs related story in print. Of course, they were a bit shocked by the last story they read dealing with the silent lambs issue. They had no idea Tema was attending the candle light vigil, much less interviewed for the AP article, and, were more-or-less rocked by her stating that she was a silent lamb and that (shock!) furthermore she supported other victims decisions to come forward. Sure, to a normal family, that might be cause for, jeeps Im with you, or, hope your doing OK, calls but in the loving atmosphere of Jehovahs organization its one step closer to family shunning. Twisted, f***ing twisted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK, deep breath.Anyhow, this article doesnt hit so close to home, for their cult ravaged family, and since their daughter the trouble maker, believing as she does that children in the org should be better protected from molesters is nowhere to be found, it may have the affect of lending additional credibility to her efforts to bring about change in her families thinking.
Alternatively, if you have a copy to spare, Id greatly appreciate it. I would even pay. Email me, Im unlocking the email now, or post to this thread.

You should take time to answer the questions of others which I asked you to answer, specifically those posed about Mexico and Malawi, because, its the honorable thing to do. You are trying to prove in this thread that you are better then us, the least you should do is try to live up to those standards.

Can't listen? But, its in real audio, how couldn't anybody listen. Just about every one on earth has higher than a 28K connection to the net. That, and extremely minimal processor speed is all you need to run Media Player well. Just checked out the audio feed now, and hear a prerecorded program about a bible study and someones almost breakdown. Eather the tape jammed in a playback machine, or the satellite feed was lost. Kinda funny.
