  does anyone remember the advice from from the stage, encouraging mothers to remove babies from the room when they were hungry?.

  how about, wooden spoons to beat toddlers into submission, preferably in front of the congegation, as to set an example in disipline?

  was this just in our hall, or was it from the borg?

  I can't say that I've ever seen a child being disapplained at a kingdumb hall; this doesn't say much because, thank God, I can count on the fingers of 1 hand the number of times I've been to a JW church. My wife, however, was a JW, and she was beaten for not sitting still. In fact, her father beat her bloody, beat her so severely that she still couldn't sit in school the next day. Her teacher told the principal whom then got children's services envolved. When questioned, her parent's lied, of course, and said that Bobsgirl had only fallen down the stairs and was lying to get attention. Nothing ever came of the children's services inquirey, and her mother continued to reinforse the lie during Bobsgirl's childhood. All for being a kid and squerming during a long and mind-numbingly boring even for an adault, weekly religious meeting. JW parents suck! Untruthfuly, abusive JW parents only suck more.

  i was thinking today about that paradise garden the witness always pictured.

  i remember all those happy blank faces, with the rosy cheeks and content look.

  they were all smiling eating a apple, petting a lion, and running around the trees.

  God bless the Netherlands. I mean really, your government knows where its at. But then most governments in western europe care about their citizens and treat them as such. BTW, will there be hemp in the paradise garden? Hell no!!! Dispite Genesis 1-12, the GB will act to ax any plans on people to have fun. Flaming killjoys couldn't relax and smoke on a good bong if they were paid. On second thought, money talks to this org. Hey, I would donate to that cause . . . pay to get the GB high. Can you imagine the fun then?

  Um, that's really funny, man! Wanna take dis outside? <grin> No, really, cuz the girl I was hanging around with at the time wasn't exactly pure as freshly fallen snow. I can honestly say, however, that our relationship -- if you can call it that -- didn't progress to a point where I could have contracted anything say for the common cold from her. Nope. The peppers are the real culprit, I sware.

  Your stomach now. Tomorrow . . . ! You guessed it. At least it rhymes with it <grin>. Seriously, peppers, hot ones, of all kinds, are the best damn things on God's great earth! Have you ever eaten a fresh Jabenllero (spelling guess, sorry) peppers? I have. Once. I thought I was a big shot, and that I had the ability to take hot foods. Christ was I wrong! I thought I was going to die! I mean, my ears rang, I couldn't breathe, and then, I thought it would be a good idea to take a pee. Second mistake, and a huge one, one which I'll never forget. Oh, did I mension that I was at work? Did I mension that I had to explain to my supervisor why I arrived back from lunch a half an hour late? All this and I still eat hot peppers all the darn time, and love them. Am I crazy?

  today, i left this board for a break.

  while typing it out, there was a steak knife at my side (from cleaning guck out of the mouse), but it beckoned me.

  ... actually, connie was too nice to the jw leaders in her questions ... and i appreciate the two young ex-jw girls who connie interviewed ... they were straight forward, clear, and credible ... and they did a good job making the case ... and kudos to bill bowen for calling the watchtower's statement a bold-faced lie, because that is what it is ... the watchtower society clearly lied as to what they say their policy is, and what has been practiced in real life.

  People are given choices in life; you chose the evil and selfish path. You chose to watch the special that aired tonight on CNN. You chose to dismiss the accounts of abuse presented to you, in favor of clinging to a hope of eternal life, vested as it is in the crewel fleshy hearts of feeble old men. You chose to dismiss the pain and suffering of innocent children, in order to, dwell in the shelter of your tightly woven spiritual security blanket. Ignorance is not evil, for ignorance implies a lack of knowledge. You, however, are not ignorant. You saw the special, and in so many words, you even said that a problem exists. You dismiss the problem with moronic platitudes like nobodys perfect. If you have children, and I hope you dont, would you turn your back and mutter nobodys perfect while they are being raped? Well?

  Your post says that if the attacker of your hypothetical children was a JW, you would do just that. Sick F***.
