"You can lead a horse to water,
But a pencil must be lead."
Laurel & Hardy
.
the book of proverbs is full of wise proverbs that give good advice.
with your experience of life up to now, what proverb would you add to this book?
"You can lead a horse to water,
But a pencil must be lead."
Laurel & Hardy
of all the stupid type and prototype watchtower invented, the most idiotic one to me is that the 10 camels used by abraham's servant eliazer to find rebekah represent the bible today.
do any of you remember this absurdity?.
wannaexit
It would give me the hump!
this morning on the radio, they had a little contest to see who could nail the worst band name on a list made by some ideot.
i tried to get through, but i was wrong anyway.
the #1 worst band name was the beatles?
The worst I think, strangely, came up in conversation at work this morning, Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich.
The official website for verification www.davedeedozybeakymickandtich.com
Their music was crap as well.
after looking in to the history of the jw's and there beginnings.
from the millerites in 1833, (william miller) and there great disappointment in 1844.
= the 2nd adventists of 1873 (an off shoot of the 7th day adventist).
So it's all Millers fault - what a b@st@rd!!!
has there been previous discussions on the nature of animals in the new system?
most people seem to think that the animals will suddenly become completely different than they are today.
lions and tigers will eat hay, not meat, etc, but if you think about animal natures and the perfect system that exists in the animal food chain, it doesn't make sense.. what would a horse be if it had no fear of predators?
Hunyadi
That was this guys excuse - no patience, couldn't wait until after Armageddon...

this news item is now appearing in oz:.
21:12 aedt wed 4 feb 2004. nepalese man marries dog.
afp - a 75-year-old man in nepal married a dog in a local custom to ensure good luck only to die three days later, a newspaper reported.
Life's a bitch.
the heavens declare the glory of god, his matchless qualities.
he calls the stars by name, not one is missing, except ...astronomers said a star about the size of our sun neared the black hole after veering off course following a close encounter with another star.. the effect is the same that the tug of the moon has on the earth's oceans, but with much more violent results.
the black hole consumed an estimated 1 percent of the doomed star, flinging the rest out into space.. .
If angels are stars, does that make blackholes demons ?
what is the most off the wall thing you've heard from a jw?.
here is mine..... a month ago my dad (disassociated) gave me a dog named lucky.
trying to get lucky used to his new home and new people we put him in a kennel when we would leave.
When I was a kid, the local barber used to give anyone who came into his barbers shop a free lollipop.
I hope they don't do this a Cost Cutters Hair Salon - that would make poor Shotgun wince.

it's all pretty funny but check out the stuff on women and slaves (under the epistles), it's a riot!
Perhaps the WBTS could use these at Assemblys - instead of getting brothers & sisters to do the dramas, they could use Lego people - at least the acting wouldn't be so wooden.
hi dear friends....... .
one question.... what will you do next april 04, sunday?........
i know you have a lot of ideas for being so far from the kh that day, and not attending the memorial.
I put "April 04" into a Google Image search. The first picture is from this site:
http://mercury.zeus.co.uk/bunnycam/index-iframe.html
Its a bunnycam - updated every 4 secs - no rabbits.
I'm struggling for a connection though.
