  Total fluff-Ebay purchases and shipping charges

  has anybody noticed the trend of a lot of sellers to lure you in with a low price, only to find, in very tiny print at the bottom, the cost of shipping "and handling" usually being as much as the product itself?

  i have seen sellers charge $70.00 to send a "buy it now" item that costs $100.00.

  insanity!.

  I think fakeBay should make a rule that sellers have to offer a standard post office rate for shipping an item, and if the buyer wants an upgraded service they can pay more for it. I don't think sellers should be allowed to charge for packaging an item.

  Why do I never see a bearded Jehovahs Witness (man I mean!!!)?

  i heard recently that jw men are not allowed to have beards - is this correct and what about ct russell?

  I know it is a rare thing and that it is looked down on, but I knew two elders who had beards. One was a visiting speaker who had a skin disorder. He always maintained a thick beard to cover his face, and we only found out because people asked him after his talk, why he had a beard (naturally most people were quite surprised because it was a full on beard).

  The other was an elder in our local congregation who was famous for fainting and collapsing midway through public talks... sometimes before he even got to the platform he would collapse... He also had a beard, but his went through phases where sometimes he would have it full, then other times he would have moustache only.

  i have been lurking here for a few days but decided i need to jump in as i need some serious help!

  i got into a relationship with a jw.

  i worked with her for over a year, got hurt on the job and was recovering for about 5 months.

  Hi welcome! I would have to agree with the person who said 'tell the truth'...

  Tell her that you would like to pursue a relationship but that your feelings are not preempted by anything, and that you know it would be a phoeny relationship if hers were. If you can accept her as who she is and not want to change her, then ask her if he she thinks she should be able to accept you as you are.

  Better to say the truth and let the cards land where they may.

  Do You Believe A Person Has The Right To Die?

  I think they should have the right to die, as long as it's spelled out in advance, i.e. legal documents signed before they end up in that state.

  Under some circumstances I think it would also be right for the family to make that choice, if the person in question was incapacitated at the time.

  You could always try calling the number and see if it connects, it's in the Ukraine, so if it does go through and that person is on the other end, at least you have corroborated that part of the story, so maybe the rest of it is also true.

  Which authorities you contact from there I wouldn't be too sure of. I would imagine it would have to be those in Ukraine. You could also forward a copy to the WT in the US & Ukraine, and if you can find a newspaper editor over in Ukraine, maybe him too.

  A big part of me thinks this is just an idiot grandstanding looking for attention.

  You could also report it to Yahoo, as they MAY have some details of this person on file.
