  Explain you religion/beliefs in a nutshell

  lately i have been pondering my lack of a belief system.

  i think that being a jw really turned me off to believing in anything since it was all crammed down my throat.. i have been feeling a need to believe in something.

  i think i believe that something created us but not sure if it was one god or many.

  I do not know the answer to 'what if' or 'why', and I will not believe someone else's answers just because they do.

  I think there is more going on in the nature of our universe and the energies that make us conscious beings than we are aware of or understand.

  I think that our consciessness trancends our physical bodies.

  I think it's possible that when our bodies die, we are re-awakened to the answers we are unable to remember when we are alive as humans.

  I think the concept of God may well just be a chinese whisper of ourselves.

  I do not believe any of the thoughts I have absolutely and they are subject to change without warning.

  i'm joining this thread late on without reading the other posts, but in answer to the question, yeah i feel invisible most of my life, seen but invisible if that makes sense. completely and utterly invisible. lol.

  the sass on the other hand, will never be invisible!

  i just noticed, today, that i broke the 10,000 post mark - a tenfold-jedi.. there i was givin' me ole mucker ozzie a right slagging off, t'other day, fer doin' t'same.... ...an i've gorn n dunnit, me sel'.. please don't congratulate, as commiserations are more in order - it's a sad milestone in my life, that so much of the last four years of said live could have been consumed by such ridiculous and inane drivel!.

  often, i hear people say that there is no love in the jw org.

  can you give personal examples of this?.

  yep, i know that, this is why i didn't say jw's were loving, i said that they do things which are not just bad, getting people back in touch might not be love, but it's an act of kindness by individual people... almost like they will help their own so long as they are their own, and once you leave them, or turn traitor, they will not have anything to do with you. a lot like being a secret agent, they will help you until you switch sides, then say goodbye.

  i think most jw don't know what love is as they are not permitted to have unconditional feelings.
