  would you be comfortable knowing that your co-workers, neighbors and or friends could find out so much about you, how you thought, felt and believed on so many issues?

  could you let others who don't really have a clue as to who you really are, come here and look you up?.

  would you consider it a good start for someone who wished to get to know you, to start here?.

  some of you may know my gf megan is pregnant.. our first scan is this wednesday - i dunno whether its possible to find out the sex at this young age but, yeh i am excited and desperate to know all is well so far!.

  i'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but on pages 28-29 of the april 15, 2007 watchtower study on let the congregation be built up, they seem to be trying to justify the notion that a person cannot be 'saved' if they leave the organization, even if they have just cause:.

  paragraph 15 reads" in modern times, some have ceased associating with the local congregation, feeling that they will serve god on their own.

  they may say that it is because their feelings were hurt, they think a wrong is not being corrected, or they cannot accept some teaching.

  growing up as a jw in the 70's and 80's we didn't have the influence of the internet.

  i, of course, believed i was in "the truth" and never heard anything (from the outside) that negative about our jw religion.

  of course, now and again, we had some angry people at the door, but other than that i can't recall very many outside negative criticisms.

  people that i work with on the job think i'm such a nice person.

  i guess we all try to show to others our good side.

  in public i try as best i can to conduct myself in a better than civilised form and fashion.

  i don't know if there is such a thing as a truly nice person or a truly nasty one, to other people we are just what we seem to be so who really can ever know what anyone really is on the inside. i think a 'nice' person can do 'bad' things and a 'nasty' person can do 'good' ones. point being, we are what we are, if you want to seem nice then seem it, if you want to seem nasty then seem that, bottom line only you will know what you are on the inside, and a lot of the time, even you, the person who seems to be something and thinks they know what they are, might not fully know their nature because there are always ways to push and prod people into the unknown, in my opinion that's how we develop, by being forced to explore our behaviour.
