facts can't prove if there is a god or not, nore define what god would be if there was indeed a god, to my understanding it's all faith based, so i wonder how any other kind of fact could provide proof as to whether what jw's have is truth? i don't think so.

Hey nomoreguilt, yeah, Cape Town is great as long as you avoid the rough edges.
Princess, I'm actually not South Africa, I'm orignally from the UK, I just moved down here 4 months ago with a new job... I know it's usually the other way around but I lived in SA for a year once before and always felt I hadn't experienced it fully so when I got chance to come back, I jumped at it :)

imagine people on mars said 'stop buying things made on earth' because earth's got issues. or people in some other galaxy started saying 'stop buying things from the milky way' because they've got issues too... we all have issues, all countries have issues, and those that deal in the largest amounts of money, i think tend to be involved in bigger issues, human rights, whatever, there's a lot of horrible stuff in this world... but power, money and trade all go hand in hand in this world.. like they say don't hate the player hate the game. i used to live in china, you won't change any human rights issues by stopping buying things from china any more than you will feed starving people in africa by not throwing your leftovers away.

3 was the best year of my life

whilst traditional iq tests measure verbal and mathematical skills, mi theory maintains that humans have multiple intelligences.. included in these are spatial, musical, bodily-kinesthetic (movement), interpersonal skills, intrapersonal and naturalist (understanding and classifying objects in nature).
so whilst some may not be to 'hot' on mathematics they may be great musicians or wonderful at understanding human beings.
