  How do JW"S treat each other in the cong in your area?

  "by this they will know that you are my disciples, if you have love amongst yourselves" is this true in your cong?

  how do the bothers deal with each other in your area?

  do they really love each other?

  I remember the association issues with much contempt. There totally were cliques that some felt they must be a part of and when they were not included they just fell apart. When I first started going to meetings we had 2 babies and there were many families with small ones , but as they grew older and I did not follow the rigid parenting of others I knew that was going to be a problem. I know that when we stopped going to meetings the "LOVE" between the brothers was void - totally! I appreciate so much now having friends that I care about and visa/versa. Chosing to go back to the kingdom hall and pretending to have brotherly love is my worst nightmare..

  i just want to say a huge thank-you for all your kind wishes and songs.

  it really made my day.

  i ended up going to an organic earthworm composting seminar this afternoon and pruned my roses this morning and all my older daughters watched the 4 year old for the whole day and cake is tonight.yippee!!!!!!.

  my b-day is tomorrow...

  don't mean to toot my own horn but this year i will be 44 and i feel great!!!

  two of my daughters tried baking my cake today and burned both of them....soooo funny!!

  i also like things that have to do with double numbers etc...my husband says i am strange.

  After JW, do you hunger for all the things you didnt do..simple things

  being raised a jw, i honestly did not know what a great big world we live in.

  all the places i never went to see, things i wanted to do,,,, because i figured , i will just do that when the new world gets here.

  there was always going to be forever to do all the things that make life interesting.. i settled for the here and now as a good jw, meetings, field service, studying the same material over and over in the wt publications, and that was my life.

  I totally enjoy being with people I have CHOSEN to be with instead of people I am forced to call - ugg- brother/sister. I never felt familial towards any of them , well maybe 1 or 2. I enjoy my evenings with my family. I am so glad to not have to listen to the same guilt ridden manipulative &%$#@ anymore. I will never have to intrude on another persons space with a message I don't believe. There are so many freedoms that I had missed because of being locked into things I felt I had to do.

  Life is a gift and an adventure... with ups and downs and twists and turns and I want a front seat!!!

  i saw a post talking about campfests....i live in california and was wondering if they were something that happens here.that would be a great way to meet other xjws .... sometimes ( especially for young ones ) when you make that big leap in your life away from jwland they might feel a little lost.. thanks - sunny

  Our 2nd Christmas....

  so , this is our 2nd christmas as a family out of the " troof " .

  sometimes it feels great and sometimes i get so anxious.

  after being involved with jw's for 20+ years we are out and all of our daughters who were raised as jws are out too.

  Hello everyone-

  So , this is our 2nd christmas as a family out of the " troof " . Sometimes it feels great and sometimes I get so anxious. After being involved with jw's for 20+ years we are out and all of our daughters who were raised as jws are out too. We have a 4 year old who only went to meetings as an infant and missed the whole jw experience.

  I still have a sister calling on me out of concern ( my husband and I are not df'd or diss. yet , I am sure when the x-mas thing is actually an issue it won't be long.) But I used to feel I didn't want to play anymore of the jw games and was not going to send in a letter to diss. myself ( my oldest daughter did) now I am feeling a desire to just get rid of the whole thing and do it. I know I will never go back to that kingdom hall ever again. Anyway - I really need to just tell this sister the truth about how I feel. Her now deceased mom was a very good friend of mine. It feels a little like her mom is here when we chat.

  I just want to also say "Merry Christmas,Seasons Greetings,Peace on Earth" to one and all and send a little hope and courage to anyone still struggling with their own jw travels.....I guess life in any form is just one big adventure ( good and bad )
