It is impossible to read your comments without feeling the bitterness and hate you must have, every one of those verses is true (even using NWT)...just because you now disagree with the applications and the settings, does not justify surely such untrue statements you feel have to be made against the society..

How about you ? are you agree with the society when Jehovah said that the society is the false prophets? according to Deut 18: 18-22 and Jeremia 14:14 - 16

(Deut 18: 18-22 NWT) 18 A prophet I shall raise up for them from the midst of their brothers, like you; and I shall indeed put my words in his mouth, and he will certainly speak to them all that I shall command him. 19 And it must occur that the man who will not listen to my words that he will speak in my name, I shall myself require an account from him. 20 ??However, the prophet who presumes to speak in my name a word that I have not commanded him to speak or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die. 21 And in case you should say in your heart: ?How shall we know the word that Jehovah has not spoken?? 22 when the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word does not occur or come true, that is the word that Jehovah did not speak. With presumptuousness the prophet spoke it. You must not get frightened at him.?

Do you know that The society always says and bring the name of Jehovah in their teaching or even prophecies? what if the prophecies failed according to that passage? do you still stand up for society when Jehovah said to you that the society is the false prophets because of Failed Prophecies or the prophecies does not occur or come true? do you still stand up for society when the society makes Jehovah is God of liar because of Failed Prophecies or the prophecies does not occur or come true?

do you know what would happenned if Jehovah found that you are the one of the society's follower ? please see Jer 14: 14-16 NWT especially verse 16 ?

(Jeremia 14: 14-16 NWT) 14 And Jehovah went on to say to me: ?Falsehood is what the prophets are prophesying in my name. I have not sent them, nor have I commanded them or spoken to them. Who is Your Mediator?

How often have you prayed to Jehovah God in the Name of Jesus Christ? Most Witnesses would say hundreds of times. Certainly, this is biblical since Jesus Himself told His disciples to pray to the Father in His Name. But what if you were told that Jesus is not your Savior, that you cannot approach God through Him, or, that, unlike Christians, someday you must stand before Jehovah without Jesus interceding on your behalf? Unless you are one of the 144,000 listening to this message, this is exactly your spiritual predicament according to Watchtower teachings. What do I mean by this?

Hidden from many Jehovah?s Witnesses is the Society?s teaching that Jesus is the mediator for only a select few, those the Organization regards as Spiritual Israel, that is, the 144,000 anointed ones. The Watchtower, April 1, 1979, p.31, states, ?Christ....is the ?mediator of a new covenant? between Jehovah and spiritual Israel, the ?Israel of God? that will serve as kings and priests in heaven with Jesus....So in this strict Biblical sense Jesus is the ?mediator? only for anointed Christians....The ?great crowd? of ?other sheep? that is forming today is not in that new covenant.? (See also: The Watchtower, February 15, 1991, p. 18)

There you have it. According to the Watchtower, Jesus is the mediator only for the 144,000! By the stroke of a pen, the Society has stripped away Jesus? unique role as mediator from over 6 million faithful followers worldwide. However, the Watchtower hasn?t left millions of people out in the cold, but has created a substitute mediator in place of Jesus. This substitute is not one person, but a Christ class, an anointed remnant still alive on the earth. These men and women, mostly in their 80s by now, make up an elite group that now act as the go-between, on behalf of God and man. Similar to the Catholic Church, the Watchtower has created a class of popes to intercede for the rank and file members. They have been given special power by the Watchtower to act not only as the mediator, but as a secondary Savior for mankind. The Watchtower, November 15, 1979, p.27, says,

?To keep in relationship with ?our Savior, God,? the ?great crowd? needs to remain united with the remnant of spiritual Israelites?. Did you hear that? Your relationship with Jehovah is dependent upon your continued attachment to the anointed brethren. So important is this union with the anointed, that The Watchtower, August 1, 1981, p.26, says, ?Your attitude toward the wheatlike anointed ?brothers? of Christ and the treatment you accord them will be the determining factor as to whether you go into ?everlasting cutting-off? or receive ?everlasting life?. Wow! Just your attitude alone toward the 144,000 has the power to either save you or damn you for all eternity!

Jesus, Our Only Mediator

What does the bible have to say about all this. 1 Timothy 2:5 says, ?For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a corresponding ransom for all?. The Word of God is very clear. The mediator between God and all humanity is one person, Jesus Christ. Not a class, not a privileged group, but the man Jesus Christ. Jesus is available as the mediator for all mankind- not just a select group. He is willing and able to intercede on behalf of all men and women who ever lived. The Society disagrees with this. It has even gone as far as adding words to 1 Timothy 2:5, citing it as,

?There is one God, and one mediator between God and men [not, all men]....?. The Watchtower, November 15, 1979, p.22.

Again, the bible is clear. We don?t have to be affiliated or in unity with any earthly man or slave class to have a relationship with God. 1 John 5:1 says that whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born from God. Jesus warned us that in the end, ?Many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ?I am the Christ?, and will mislead many? (Matthew 24:5). Jesus knew 2000 years ago that conniving men would rise up in the last days claiming to be the way to God. He knew that these men would try to steal away your allegiance to Him, rob you of a relationship with God and deprive you of eternal salvation. Isn?t this exactly what the Watchtower has done- setting itself up as the messiah whereby all men must come to gain access to God?

They were merely celebrating anniverseries.

Yes, Actually Anniversary and Birthday are the same.

Anniversary is celebration the "BIRTH" of something (Organization, Group, etc).

Wedding anniversary is celebrating "BIRTH" of marriage.

Company anniversary is celebrating the "BIRTH" of the company, etc.

Perhaps it refers only to their birthdays; see Job_3:1 , where the word "day" is used to denote a birthday. In early times the birthday was observed with great solemnity and rejoicing.

First, why did the The Watchtower magazine celebrate its own 100th Birthday? The July 1,1979, Watchtower was a "special issue" titled "Keeping Watch For 100 Years," commemorating the magazine's birth in July of 1879. And that is not all! When the Pennsylvanie Corporation publishing the magazine became 100 years old in 1984, it too had a celebration: "A special occassion indeed!...it was appropriate that Jehovah's Witnesses should mark this centennial of the Watch Tower Society by a special gathering." (The Watchtoweer, January 1, 1985, page 16)

My second question is:

Do the sect's leaders who partied on their own centennial have sound biblical reasons for denying children such parties on their birthdays?

If the Holy Spirit were merely an impersonal force, it would be BLASPHEMOUS to give it the name Jehovah. Is 2 Cor 3 blasphemous?

Now Jehovah is the Spirit; and where the spirit of Jehovah is, there is freedom. And all of us, while we with unveiled faces reflect like mirrors the glory of Jehovah, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, exactly as done by Jehovah[the] Spirit. 2 Cor 3:17-18(NWT)

If Jehovah is the Spirit, then He must be the same Spirit that Peter was talking about in Acts 5:9 in the NWT when he spoke of the "spirit of Jehovah." "God is a Spirit," acc. to John 4:24 in the NWT. Is Jehovah God Himself an impersonal active force?

The Holy Spirit is called the "spirit of Jehovah" in these other NWT scriptures, as well:

Judges 3:10, ii Chron.18:23, 20:14, Isa 11:2, 59:19-21,61:1, 63:14, Ezek, 11:5, 37:1, Michah 2:7, 3:8, and Acts 5:9.

Jehovah refers to "His Spirit" in: Gen.6:3, Num. 11:29, Ezek.39:29, Joel 2:28-29, Hag.2:5, Zech.4:6 and 7:12.................:=)))

He is the archangel and as such commands a heavenly army of hundreds of millions of angels. (1 Thessalonians 4:16; 1 Peter 3:22; Revelation 19:14-16).

1Th 4:16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ shall rise first.

If Jesus is Michael the archangel in the 1 Thessalonians 4:16 then He is must be a 'trumpet' (if use the same logic)

In the point of view of JW, HS just only an electricity, Impersonal force, etc.

How can an 'Impersonal force' (says electricity, active force, etc). can feel hurt in Isa 63:10?

I need your help regarding WT Soc quotes about HS. At least I can help JWs out from WTBS in my country.
