Good job Irreverant! I cannot give blood because of all of the medications I take. But if I could, I would.

i volunteered and gave blood for the first time this past tuesday.
my heart condition has improved to the point that my doctor okayed my donating blood.
i am kind of a wuss when it comes to shots and needles; but being in a hospital in intensive care gets you over that.

if you ran a business based on how much literture that has been printed which i would like to know about (just a rough guestimate) how much literture has been printed compared to how many witnesses are still left, don't you think this is a terrible ran business?
how much money do they spend annually on bethelites, co;s, do's and special pioneers and missionaries.
don't you think this is just a terribly ran business.
The Watchtower Society is a well run business ... they gross well over $1 billion a year, and they do not have to pay taxes. They have a buch of volunteers working their butts off paying for the literature that they give away half of the time. These volunteers think that they are doing it for Gawd. I wish I could run a business where I would have free workers and paid no taxes.

i told my wife (faithful jw) that this past sunday, i found some objection to the .
wt study and could not raise my hand.
she had wanted to know why i did not comment.. .
Hi OnTheWayOut,
Excellent work in talking to your wife. Keep taking it easy, but don't let up. Here is the link to how I helped my family out of the organization. It took time, about seven months, to get them all through it, but it was worth the risk. Click here: http://freeminds.org/psych/exithelp.htm
Keep us posted, and thanks for sharing,

some have asked me if i plan on being at the upcoming child abuse trials in california ... i have heard second hand they are tentatively scheduled for around april 2007. i will try and get this time frame confirmed, as it has been over 7-years since this issue commenced on ex-jw forums.
yes, i will be at those trials in which i am called as a "fact" witness, or as a type of "expert" witness.
i have not been told exactly when i will be called, or for how much testimony, but i have a general idea based on my previous depositions and preservation testimony.. i will keep you all posted as events develop.. jim whitney.
Hi Blue,
I will also send this to you in a PM in the event that you do not happen to check back on this post.
Jim, Is this issue ( child abuse ) and your support for those who have been abused in court testimony the reason that your past post's and topics were removed and you changed your handle to Amazing1914?
Not exactly, but I will explain in a PM. I was allowed to open up a separate screen name until my postings under "Amazing" were restored.
Did The Watchtower force you to shut down back then? I remember that at that time you said that you could not post under Amazing for a time and now I see that your handle is back to just Amazing. The Watchtower Society did not shut me down, nor could they, nor would they.
Can I now go back and read your past topics again, are they still locked out or are they open now? ... Jim, I just took a look and can now see that I can read your past topics under Amazing not Amazing 1914. Did you combine them together under just Amazing?
Both the "Amazing" and "Amazing1914" postings are available. Once my "Amazing" screen name was not available to me, I simply got used to using "Amazing1914" I let it ride until a few months ago, when I decided to start using my original screen name again. Jim Whitney

quotes from the wt publications are indeed hair raising enough.
but i find the utterances of jehovahs witnesses themselves to be even more intriguing.
mainly because it shows just what kind of people the religion produces.. below are some that stand out to me in from my time in the organisation.
Hi Jambon1,
"You know, the bible does say in Psalms that 'there is no stumbling block for the righteous' ".
In all the 25-years I was a JW, and in the 15-years since I left, I have never heard that scripture brought up, especially in reference to loyalty to an organization. Excellent! What a purely twisted use of the Bible to justify ignoring someone who left for reasons of consicence ... or in the case you mention, because the person spoke up against child abuse. This is exactly why the organization fails to see the criminal and wicked behavior they employ that has ended up shielding child molesters right in their own ranks. They are going to get a rude awakening before long. Thanks for posting this thread.

yes, folks, the all-wise, all-knowing, all-seeing watchtower society peers into and explores all possibilities of thought and logic.
yes, right back to our beginnings they look at how adam needed to determine who would serve as his companion ... and where did he search?.
"before god created anything new, a woman, god left the man free to determine whether there was a suitable companion for him among all the lower animals.
Hi Bluesapphire,
I am at my office right now. I will scan it when I get home and post a copy. Or, if I do not get it posted easily, then you can e-mail me at [email protected] and I will send it as an attachment.
Merry Christmas,

It is a ral quote ... and I am holding the book in my hands. It is medium red cover with a gold embossed title. You can also check it out on the Watchtower CD Rom. I have it for sale from my literature inventory.

"Before God created anything new, a woman, God left the man free to determine whether there was a suitable companion for him among all the lower animals. He did not oblige the man to go seeking a companion among them, thus requiring the use of much time on the man's part, but Jehovah God brought various beasts of the earth and flying creatures of the heavens before the man."- Life Everlasting - In Freedom of the Sons of God, p. 45, para. 22 (c)1966 Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania
Why, God even brought these creatures to Adam, because god-forbid that he would use too much time deciding whether to marry a dog or a bird or to determine if he was more oriented toward sheep or an ass ... but, when it comes to preaching, God makes man spend endless hours looking for people who are not at home anyway. I digress. But, thankfully, Adam was not an animo-sexual, no, he was heterosexual ... not that there is anything wrong with being an animo-sexual, because we do not want to be judgmental, but I would not want Adam to have married a donkey and turn us into jackasses with wings.
Oh, Watchtower, and you silly GB boys ... what would you have been like had you gotten an education beyond the third grade ... opps, according to rumor, Fred Franz, the Greek expert, wrote the above book ... and he had two years of college ... yikes! He must have done well in creative writing.
Merry Christmas!
