The Watchtower Bible & Tract Society is...Outsourcing
by truthseeker ini received news from an elder i know in another congregation.
he told me that things are changing in the way that bethel is running its operations.. i was informed that bethel no longer makes its own ink, but buys it from other companies.. even in the bethel kitchens, there is no more watchtower chicken - meat is bought from outside, this i believe also goes for milk and dairy products too.. can anyone confirm this?
i have reason to believe it is probably true.. i wonder what would happen if the wt suppliers go out of business?

Are You a Taker Not a Giver
by blondie inmany posting here once would not accept a blood transfusion or give blood because of the wts doctrine.. having left that doctrine behind and being willing to "accept" a blood transfusion, are you willing (if able medically) to donate blood?.
if willing to accept an organ transplant, are you willing (if medically able) to donate an organ, either as a live donor or when deceased?.
if yes, to both questions, do you donate blood regularly?

no needles for me. i can handle a lot of sick and gross stuff, but if a doctor pulls a needle out, i best be one f**ked up guy that can't see OR feel the needle, or else i'll punch him... so no i don't donate and no i won't take because of my fear of needles

as i was growing up it was like being in the middle of 2 polar opposites both tugging at me day in day out, sometimes trying to understand one whilst ignoring the other and vice versa.

standing up for myself, educating myself on the way corporations (including the WTS work) and overcoming shyness. another big thing was coming as far as i have on my physical condition. my dad was "overweight", and i thought it was cool, so i was a fat kid. so it took me a long time to reverse that.
