what a bloomin lovely, lovely, lovely day it was today, well, last 24 hours or so actually.

awoke this morning with little sign of hangover from saturday nights schenalligans on the town to a stunning warm day with not cloud in sky, about 71f (21c).

a mate rang me up asking if i could give some guy from zimbabwe a lift from local village, down to town, british legion club.

Don't you just love those word association topics?

Had a Nightmare

last night i dreamed i had to prepare some type of talk for the meeting at the kh.

it went on for most of the night it seemed.

on the way to the kh i noticed i had on a tee shirt and had to go back for my white shirt and tie.

OK this not sleeping thing has got to stop

well it's not that i'm not sleeping - i am - just only 2-3 hours at a time.. when i try to stay awake i start feeling nauseous from the lack of sllep and have to go lie down.

then sleep for a couple of hours then the pain in my feet starts up and i am awake.. i just spent the second whole night this week wide awake.

then during the day i am falling asleep for two hours then awake for an hour and back to sleep.

Perhaps a bubble bath with some candles and incense around the tub. Some good wine, music and a body massage... will do the trick?

having thought about it a few times and talked to another member here when i first joined, i think i would like to be hypnotised and asked some questions about things, life, previous life, early memories, repressed memories and a whole bunch of other stuff.

have any of you ever undergone this procedure or know anything about it, would you do it?

I went to a hypnotist show over new years. There were about 30 people on stage. Some were under hypnosis, but it didn't 'take' with me. Perhaps I am too boneheaded. I just played along, but was conscience of my surroundings.

I think there are more professional people, that can do a better job. More like one on one, where they can dig into your past. But to go on stage and act silly, because the hypnotist put you under, didn't work for me.

i know that this topic will be a draw to those who are truly interested in this subject, and for those who seem to feel that it is their "duty" to debunk untruth and myth, etc.

I had never delved into this, until a friend of mine showed me something very interesting about me. I am a Pisces, and I am on a cusp. I read everything there is about the caracter of a Pisces, and was amazed at what I found. This was not a hororscope. It was merely a discription of what Pisces likes, dislikes, habits, are. And I found it to be very true. So am I a believer? Yes I am. I know where my risings are and how they affect who I am.

I did the same reading on my friend. She is a Scorpio. And once again, I was stunned with the accuracy of the read.

I have since followed a few horoscopes, but find that it's not always accurate. Perhaps I am reading the wrong types. I don't know if you can tell day by day what is to happen to you. But the overall read about the personalities concerning zodiacal signs are fascinating.

But I am new to all this.

Identity Cards ... good or bad idea?

one of the questions in the uk at the moment is whether we shoudl have identity cards or not.. the government, who wants them, claims they will "help to prevent terrorism".

spain and the usa both have identity cards and they have had big terrorist attacks.

it's never been explained exactly how they will stop terrorists.. my personal opinion is that they are just another government play to control people, another form of tax (you can bet it will cost us to get them) and i have my doubts as to whether the government could run a large scale it project of that magnitude (given it's track record) and whether the estimated 3bn won't end up many years late and at least 10bn over-budget.

How can jws be so stone hearted?

i am sure the jws do moniter these and other places, but if they are so human and they read all the heart breaking stories on the sites they pry in , how can they live with what they have done to people,i mean just us here get choked up reading what people are and did go through.

jws always say they are human they make mistakes, then how can they not have human emotions?

sorry if i am just rambling , but i can't understand how they can be just stone but say they are human.

Having been a witness myself, I can understand. I used to do the same thing sometimes.

Here's how it works. You come in the truth, like what you hear and see, convert, and then over the years you adjust your life. You learn over the course of time, it's futile to dispute anything. And you become brainwashed, little by little. Over the years you become like the ones who are in 'charge'. You speak like they speak and act like they act.

Until...... something dramatic happens, and your eyes are opened. Then you look back and realize the truth behind the 'truth'
