does showing our upset or anger regarding our life as witnesses a good thing or a bad thing?
personally, i feel that everyone of us has to express whatever feelings for however long time it takes to heal.
(i'm not talking about carrying the same anger or hurt for 25 years).
I don't think it's a good thing to ignore our past. How else would you have gained the experienced within the borg? And we can all admit, it wasn't ALL bad. But in the end many made a choice, based upon their JW past...... In short, it was a learning curve to move on to the next stage in your life.

are there guidelines to judicial comittees that say a minor can not be questioned without a parent or guardian present?
i remember my sister was left alone in the room with 3 older men during her jc when she was only 17. when i was 13 my best friend got in to trouble, and they questioned both her and i alone.
It is recommended that the parents are present with the minor, if still living at home. However if they are baptized and are 'old' enough, and out of the home, there may be times that the minor can meet with a committee. There are some variables that come into play.

would it be that you might like to start an ex witness healing group or similar, or perhaps some theatre production, screen writing etc, or perhaps a recycling project or perhaps helping out elderly individuals in your home area?.
if you could use your imagination, what would you like to do?

yes, they are grown (26-20), but still too young to lose their father.
also, he did not know how to be a dad, he was their father, but not a dad if you know what i mean.

I am sorry to hear about your pains. This is a difficult time. Perhaps you can make the best of the time left.
My abusive father died 2 years ago. He was df'd and I didn't have contact with him for 18 years. Before he died he came back into the borg, but was a vegetable. So I made the best of the remaining time until his death.
