i do beleive that i have come to the right place and am very excited about it!

i recently dissociated myself and the elders keep calling me trying to speak and i don't want to hear it then he leaves me a message saying i have to sign a paper saying i'm dissociating myself since when did it become more of a business than a spiritual manner.

i'm not signing any papers.

has this happened to anyone else?

Wow, I have heard of people writing letters in order to disassociate themselves but I have never heard of any being tracked down to sign some papers! I personally wouldn't sign anything.

I would say Yes! Definently!! Being raised as a JW, means being ridiculed and made fun of your entire life! Going to school was an absolute nightmare! Being raised as a JW means not fitting in, being an outcast.

I would definently say that being raised as a JW has alot to do with my self esteem issues.

i am new here and not quite sure how to use this forum, but i guess ill learn in time.

it's funny really, i've browsed through this site before when i was still a jw and honestly thought that have you people are nuts, but hey now i'm an ex-jw as well.....and can think clearly for the first time in years.. what can i tell about myself?

i've always wondered if it was possible to sue the society...or elders...for alienation of affection...it's possible in three states .

It is so nice to be surrounded by people who actually understand how I feel and what I am going through. It is so hard to explain to people who have never been a part of the "organization".
