  my heart is heavy as i write this letter.

  i have been trying to live my life as best that i can since leaving jehovah's witnesses.

  my dad was not a witness and was my rock when i left the religion.

  Who have you lost?

  i was just thinking the other day how small our family is now that we aren't jw's.

  we are thankful that we at least have our children!

  my husband lost his mom and dad and only sister and her husband and all their children.

  what would be their first thought???

  i often wonder about the older "old school" jehovah's witnesses that are up in their 70's and they are losing all their friends they have known most of their lives.

  they waited together all those years for the big "a" and it still isn't here.

  they are still sitting at the meetings, raising their hands to answer on the same old material and waiting for any tidbit of new information about how close they are to that paradise earth.. i wonder what would be their first thought when the doubt begins to seep in and they have nobody to tell it too....... .

  What about the bible?

  i was remembering a conversation i had recently with my mom when she was still talking to me.

  i asked her why the jw's keep getting new light on different teachings.

  she told me that man is imperfect and needs to be corrected by jehovah time to time to get the teachings right.. well, i started thinking......man was imperfect when he wrote the bible, right?

  i have been trying to get on with my life without jehovah's witnesses and my mom.

  just to let you know briefly about me......i was pretty much raised a jw by my mom.

  she never let me know my dad because he was "worldly" and was going to die soon.

  hello to all of you.... it's been a long time since i've posted here on the board.

  life has been going well for my husband and me after leaving the jw's.

  after being with them for over 30 years (being raised with them) has been hard for us as we have struggled to become part of the word that they have condemned.

  i'm talking about like the early 1900's or late 1800's or any other time?

  i just wanted to say.......i'm having a gin gimlet drink and thinking....and wondering what all of you are doing.

  i wanted all of you to know...that even tho i don't post as often, i read just about everything.

  Help!!! That stupid worm is hiding in my computer

  ok ok....i know i'm probably getting all worked up over nothing, but i'm so ##### mad right now that i'm going to shoot that worm right out of there!

  i think it's hiding in my restore computer files and i used the tool to remove the sasserb.worm and it said it was removed succesfully.
