  It seems as if though you heard the same talk by an overseer. He was relating a memory of when his father would tell him that Harmagedon was just "around the corner" and when he told his father that it seemed to be a taking a long time , his father said that it was a "big corner".......are you by chance from Colorado?

  Todays world events are not happening for nothing Frannie B ( I like how the name sounds), turmoil in the whole world with uprisings all over the place, and new governments falling and reforming again............all in order to fulfill the words of God. It is not too far away, let me assure you......

  Sued for "reverse shunning"!

  i just learned through contacts with my family that they are trying to file a suit against me for reverse shunning!!!

  what is reverse shunning?

  The damage portion of the claim would be "Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress", but it falls under the basis of religion, and I believe the WTS has already won suit over their "shunning under disfellowshipping" doctrine.

  In the same manner, you are excercising your right to shun them under your own religious beliefs............is this not correct?

  Unlikely, but what if this happened re:Iraq

  saddam is put on trial and he is sentenced to life in prison instead of death.

  the iraqis get things under control enough to where in a year or so the americans pull their troops out.

  once the americans are gone, the 'provisional government' frees saddam, says 'welcome back mr president' and he takes charge of iraq again.

  I am so anxious for the election to take place. Would it make sense that Bush regains the Presidency? I think perhaps Kerry needs to come into power in order for the United States to bring the world back into harmony and establish "World Peace". Everyone hates the current President too much, so I do not think it would be likely for Bush to regain the top spot...........in a world of true justice, Bush would be guilty of war crimes as Saddam is. He deliberately attacked a non-threatening country (not saying that Saddam was nice), and he is responsible for the killing of innocent people. (Impeachment perhaps?) I guess we all have to wait and see.

  the number "666" is hidden in every upc bar code!

  (if you don't believe it, get a bar code and look at it!.

  in the last few years, some upc codes have appeared with additional boxes underneath the bar code.

  I believe that I can still eat if I am not able to hook up to the internet, or talk on the phone..........so it will not have an effect on me.

  But anyway, the numbers in the bible all come into play in the time that the wild beast acts, such as 42, 666, 216 (6x6x6)......etc. etc. All you have to do is look for them and pay attention to the numbers................(not numerology by the way)

  One difference between Christianity and Islam is that Islam do not have the same hope of heaven as Christians do. Christians believe they will go to heaven simply because they accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, no works is needed to ensure that heavenly hope.

  This is a very assumptive statement. How do you know that a believer in Islam will not go to heaven? If you recall, Jesus followers are mislead by false prophets, along with the holy ones if possible. There are many varieties of so-called "Christians". Which form of Christian teaching is the correct one? Isn't everyone being mislead in one way or another? The condition of the heart, and faith in God, is what will determine the final destiny of all people. If you ask me, many Muslims have more faith in their small finger than most people do in their whole body. They are willing to die for their beliefs, which is evident by their willingness to go against the strongest nation on the planet, in order to preserve their holy places of worship. Supposed "Christians" are the ones doing the attacking. I am from America, but I am not American. I am a human being, that will not raise arms against another human being, in the true sense of Christianity............ Brownboy
