Well it is said that:
'Love pushes fear outside'
You might have heard that but I struggle to really understand what it means and how it is applied.
It also say to 'Love your neighbour as yourself' not more the same.
let me run this by you all and see what you think.
it seems to me that every individual has their own ideas about everything from religion to politics.
these ideas are formed and shaped by many things ( station in life, parents, social background, education, ect.).
Well it is said that:

thanks princess for helping us remember ari's screen name.. the "sad news from maui" thread is here: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/107021/1.ashx
Many tears were shed here in England,
Ari you are still missed and mourned
we went to our favorite beach, met up with some of our local friends.
we don't have much in the way of details - but heard some devasting news that ari (well known to seattle area exjw's and i am sure by many on the board) killed himself sometime over last weekend.
he was so excited about moving to maui, and starting a new life here.
I often wonder about Puternut > Ari. It hurt and touched us all and adds to the scars that the JW cult have inflicted on us.
I think too of his family, his two adult girls, if they had deep regrets about their treatment of their Father.
R.I.P
just recently thinking of instances in old testament when jehovah instructed his people to slaughter animals, women, and even children.
if a human being today instructed an army to do this, wouldn't he be convicted of genocide/war crimes???.
chukyy.
Did you see the brilliant reasoning in 'God on Trial' a BBC docu/drama?
Chance to see it for a week on this link.
i want to thank everyone here who have responded to my topics in the year and a half i've been on this board.
i have, and continue enjoying putting out subjects that may help others overcome getting out of the " mind control" cult that is jehovah's witnesses.
these topics would not have flamed or hit 21 responses without your takes on things !
Doing my bit to get this one flaming too.
I like the personal experience type threads more than the doctrinal ones.
i have had a wonderful time on here.thanks to simon ,angie,& mods.
but it is time for me to sign off.. i did want you all to read stupid77 post, but i guess you all missed it.
i wish each & every one god's speed, i hope you will find encouragement from the other sites you join.
Best wishes and may God continue to bless you
well, we made it past the 3 million post mark ... what a huge milestone - it makes it one of the largest discussion forums on the internet!.
a big thank you to everyone who posted on this site, shared a little bit of themselves with us or just said 'hi' along the way.. thank you for making this place rock and kick ass!.
.
That is awesome!!
i often wonder how he's doing and wonder if someone can fill me/us in?
I have been thinking about him too, spent yesterday evening trying to see if I had missed any news
he last posted in March and there was a mention of him being in hospital in July.
If you are reading this Ian or Claire we are thinking of you
two young virgin jws (16 & 18) were married.
we survived jw's.
5 children and 9 g' kids later we have all of our close family out of the cult.
congratulations you more than survived you thrived
i say this because i have been helped so much by the many posts that represent the way i feel about the wtbts.
it is good to know that there are so many people that feel this way.
i am currently inactive and dont comment but do attend meetings for the sake of the family.. my wife is still in and i have a daughter and one on the way.
Well done ...... and welcome
