  i'm going to cancun for a girl getaway next weekend for 3 days.

  i've never been to that part of mexico before any suggestions on what to do and where to go?

  yeah 3 days isn't long enough, but I'm leaving my husband and kids I don't think he'd be able to have me away any longer than that, and I'm certain I would miss them too much :)

  Mazatlan is a lot of fun! I went their with my sister many moons ago, b4 she got reinstated...good memories.

  My mother has family down in Oaxaca on the coast (Salina Cruz) my 1st trip there when I was 15, I was very ill w/montezumas revenge....when I went back in my 20's to Vera Cruz where my sister's husband's family is from I ended up in a military hospital for 5 days....yuck! not a way to spend a vacation.....I will be prepared with pepto for sure!

  we are shooting for 5:30 pm giving us time to eat and talk and go to either the green mill or the jazz showcase afterwards.

  parking: street parking possible, free lot (5238 n. clark st.)

  be prepared for heavy traffic especially on a Friday night when everyone wants to come downtown to play.....it gets heavier the closer you get to O'hare....there are usually signs up to let you know how long it will take you due to the traffic...oh and tolls are now .80 have your change ready.

  I'm certified SCUBA diver but my girlfriend is not, she's afraid of water so starting her out with snorkeling for now, would love to do a night dive though.

  get drunk and get pictures taken of your boobs so they can be put in the "guest" picture portfolio for the whole world to see.

  Save us a spot on the beach

  hey the more the merrier....I'm sure you could use the sun too....

  I think we are going to do that snorkeling tour definetely....the ruins tours are an all day event and I kind of want to split up my time on the beach, maybe if we were going for a week we'd do more of that.....I think we'll definetly take advantage of the nightlife....we both dance salsa, so anywhere there is dancing would be awsome.....
