  The U.S.S. Enterprise is investigating Beta III, where the U.S.S. Archon disappeared over 100 years before.

  When the landing party exhibits strange behavior, Kirk sends another party down to investigate. They find the culture on Beta III is quiescent, with no creative tendencies (Meaning the Brother hood of Jehovah’s Witness). The entire culture is controlled by a group of 'lawgivers' (The Elder Body of Jehovah’s Witness’s) known as "The Body" which is, in turn, controlled by the omniscient Landru. (The Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witness’s over in Bethel) The inhabitants change from normal, peaceful people to a illogical unreasoning mob at the coming of the Red Hour ( Meaning after the Circuit and District assemblies). This 'Festival' is the society's only outlet for the tyrannical hold that Landru (The Governing Body of Jehovahs Witness's) has over them at all other times.

  Meanwhile, the U.S.S. Enterprise (peace loving decent brothers and sisters who are not afraid to say why! or NO WAY!) is being pulled from its orbit, its crew is to be absorbed into the Body (The elder body’s manipulating control of their lives). This, they discover, is what happened to the U.S.S. Archon, so many years before and hense they have become like Zombies. Archon survivors from this mind control have formed an underground of sorts to fight the Body, (Witness Elder Body) and they help Kirk and Spock reach Landru (The Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witness’s). Landru turns out to be an incredibly complex computer built by Landru, a scientist who lived 6,000 years before, who wanted to guide his people into a peaceful, civilized society with out thought control. (The Bible Students, before Judge Rutherford did his hostile take over). Landru had affected the computer with his scientific thoughts and memories, but not his wisdom. For centuries the computer, 'Landru,' (Modern day Jehovah's Witness's as represented by the Governing Body located in what they call Bethel) has been interpreting his suggestions to the point that no one is allowed independent thought (Which has taken mans God given conscious away and replaced it with mans which hinders man and women's ability to worship him properly). Kirk tells the computer that instead of helping to nurture the culture of Beta III, it has harmed it. Landru destroys itself, (because of the unrelenting Total Logic of many ex-Jehovah's Witness's Internet Web Sites) leaving the Betans to work towards the sort of culture Landru had originally wanted so many centuries before. With the promise of Federation help on the way, Kirk and his crew beam back to the U.S.S. Enterprise.

  i have tried and tried to paste a text i have made fro my ms word program so that it can be spelled right, but to no avail, do i have leprosy or something and have been cast out the city gates?.

  Borg Cost cutting measures...can you think of others?

  i was reflecting on the other thread (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/11/135961/2.ashx) about the new koolaid watchtower....and thinking about this being more of an overall cost cutting measure than any kind of old light repackaged as special lite.......can you think of any other examples?

  a few examples: no more subscriptions (no more yellow envelopes, no more yellow, blue, green, pink forms).

  no more postages sending individual magazines.. kingdom ministry now sent in same box as magazines rather than separate roll of kms to po house.

  Beards, oh man they will use anything to sow seeds of shame in us. Like God will be so disheartened if a man has a beard. Or a tattoo or any other form of personal wear. They say its up to you but then in the same breath stumble you by shaming you to sell their stuff from door to door.

  They tell you how loving God is, then shame you into crawling on all fours to keep you in line all for a publishing company.

  my mother told me that the co gave a talk on how a spider spins his web and it can take a very long time for the web to be made but just like that--- before you know it---it can catch its prey and devour it.

  it's the same with the world wide web, the internet.

  there are reports, according to the co, that in new york, a very prominent "anointed" man was disfellowshipped and he has his owm website where he has answered many jws questions.

  Typical of a control group. I belive a lot of what is taught but the attemps at control makes me real sick.

  They say they are not a cult, but the facts prove otherwise. There will an accounting one day, and God knows who has been naughty or nice.

  I am a Jehovah's Witness and I want to thank all of the non-Jehovah's Witness's for their blood that they kindly gave to us all, so we could use their blood fractions for medical science and for saving my life in the past as I have Factor Five Leidens cloting condition. Because of the use of blood, doctors would never have known of the this condition that takes so many lifes.

  generally, i never get depressed and am fairly resilient when having to cope with change.

  all my life, i suddenly stopped everything last december.

  Boy don't I understand where your coming from. This aspect of the witness's caused me to have a lot of bitterness to be thrown out to the dogs sort to speak. I had no one, I was also fifty at the time of being shunned and one thing I learned is no man is an island. Social life is very important its what held me together or my tears would have sort of carried me a away. I now sing karaoke I also belong to BPOE (ELKS) there I find brotherhood and activities helping each other as well as my town, they don't shun me here god bless them. I also belong to the Eagles" and do similar naborhood deeds, as well as have great outings, and dances and they host a fun bar. The here people want to accept you as you are not as they want to mold you into something. Besides if I die these two organizations mentioned above will bury me and give me a tomb stone, ha ha that is more than the witness's ever offered . (live long and prosper)

  What perturbs me most about the Governing Body.

  of all the statements they make its when they make reference to them self's as jehovah.

  when they discuss in the their publication about apostates rebelling against jehovah.

  no rather its against some of the teaching of jehovah's witness's, but of course they don't see it that way do they.

No rather its against some of the teaching of Jehovah's Witness's, but of course they don't see it that way do they. I see that as rather haughty and blasphemous given they are not prophets, but they continue behaveing like one. I am sure he enjoys that, NOT.
