  If You're Annointed and You Know It Clap Your Hands...

  ok...i see there are a fair number of posters here that have a "heavenly hope".... i can't help but wonder - what would it be like if a group of annointed (those that know in their hearts they will be resurrected to heaven) were to step up to the wbts, claim the authority the society vests in them as the true intermediaries between the great crowd and jesus, and try to give input to the gb?.

  how could the gb posisbly say they are not part of the fds?

  i suppose they would just paint everyone with the apostasy brush - "because i say they are and they disagree with me" - but wouldn't it be a marvel to see a group come forward to assert the authority and responsibility the gb says is vested in the fds?.

  My Favorite Field Service Restaurants and Coffee Spots

  yup good old sambo's restaurant, was great cause back in the day we could go there and for ten cents and of course a tip for the waitress we could have a bottomless cup of coffee and set there and bs most of the day, and then leave our tip and a watchtower and awake and count it as a placement.. .

  there was this bowling alley called hill top lanes in my town, that me and a few of us would go to, we would force our selfs to hang with the friends for about an hour or so in field service then we would say that we have a few return visits we have to go to, we would get there and bowel a few games and drink a few beers and then call it a day and of course leave a few old magazines there.

  and when i was really young me and this dude would go to the gray hound station and pass out a few tracts then play pin ball till about 1:00 pm and count the time.

  Oh cool dude, I like to bowel sometimes, I am going to get back into golfing, I am no good at it but its good way to walk around with a beer in my hand and shoot the breaze with doctors attorneys and stuff and of course wear nifty clothes and shoes.

  my my my, how time flys and now we are right back to the most wonderful time of the year, i just love to say marry christmas to people at food stores and everywhere else, it seems to brighten their day so much.

  it the time when i will play the old movie its a wonderful life, i have seen that show at lest 90 times through out my life, but its just a sweet movie.

  now i play the three movies that have tim alan as santa its a good kids movie, but then i do have to also play bad santa its my favorit one too for this time of the year i laugh my arse off each time i see it, old billy bob thornton, he is a riot in that show.

Now comes the best part the drinks, I will list a few of my favorit ones but lets see if we can get some added for our Chritmas cheer package:

  Baileys coffee liqueur, is a must this time of the year so put that on your list, even a goodie two shoe elders wife would love Baileys.

  And Bristol's cherry cream is also good for those who are afraid they might sin if they take a shot of Jack Daniels.

  Oh I just love some good flavored warmed up virgin olive oil basil flavor is good, and then you get some garlic bread and dip in the olive oil and a big round of shrimp and cocktail sause and enjoy the seasons brothers and sisters with your drink, um g ood old Evan Williams Whisky will do nicely for me on the rocks no water. (Note always eat food with your spirits) Shoot I am making myself hungery and it's kind of late.

  Just finished talking to an old JW friend....

  ....and it was all that i expected.. she and i were extremely close at one time, but we sort of lost touch with each other over a year or go or so, not getting to talk to each other much within that time frame.

  she's a very hardcore pioneer as i once was.

  i think that's why we got along so great.

  "The manager was always grumpy because we took up the whole place and nobody ever got chicken, just coffee and biscuits. And the little kids, my kids, running around screaming and spilling honey on everything. Those were the days."

  Tinker, that just way too funny same things happened to me with my kids, my ex-wife would take a napkin and dip into a cold ice water and wipe my oldest daughters face with it, It was not till years latter that I did that to my own face and felt just how cold it was. (Its off the subject) but that same crazy ex-wife of mine used to put soap in my little girls mouths if they said a dirty word, till one time I wondered what it tasted like so I put it in my own mouth wow it dam near choked me to death. So the next time I caught my ex-wife holding my ten year old little girl down and rubbing the bar of soap in her mouth I grabbed her by the hair of her head and did it to her um I think she took exception to me doing that cause we got a divorce a year latter and separated a month latter, but she did me a favor as far it relates to her.
