They are always entertaining when your good and stoned on some purple haired weed, I realy like the Watchtower study when you hear the sisters say "and yes I "really appreciated" this point in the WT, if your at a Mormon meeting they say oh wasn't that a "choice experience" and sometimes if your toking on a good doobie it almost sounds like it's not a bunch of BS.

by Cheetos inclick on the picture to make it larger and you can see clearly their index fingers, yah got to love the mormons.. the freemasons handshake is a part of freemasonrys rituals, and thereafter, a way for fellow freemasons to acknowledge one anothers status in the order.. http://www.fdrs.org/freemasons_handshake.html .

Automatic reinstatement if teaching gets reversed?
by Fatfreek inlet's say your spouse admitted to having sex with animals, you went to the elders and they told you that you were not free to remarry -- but you went ahead, divorced the scumbag, and remarried someone else.
you, of course, got disfellowshipped.
since then, the society reverses its position.

I am the Faithful and Discreet Slave
by jwblog inwhen i first attended the congregation of jehovahs witnesses i never even thought about whom or what was the faithful and discreet slave.
i do not believe that this information is ever taught to the public directly.
i think you have to be baptised or start attending the same meetings as those that are baptised.. anyway what made all of you adapt the teaching of the faithful and discreet slave (class or whatever)?

How Do You Make Money Online? Do You Want To Make Money Online?
by Pinball incoming out of the witnesses like many here with no university education, it's been a little difficult at times to know how to make a decent living.. since being disfellowshipped, for asking way too many difficult questions of the elders, i've found myself becoming more and more immersed in making money online.. perhaps you do the same?.
or on the other hand, perhaps you too are struggling to understand how you too, could make a decent living online?.
it seems to me, that this could be an awesome opportunity for some here involved in the business of making money online, to help fellow exwitnesses and others too, become more acquainted with some of the methods used to generating an ideal situation to earning for themselves more income.. of course, this can be a very confusing area for some people to understand and/or get to grips with.. so this got me to thinking this afternoon, how many of us here could help our fellow posters out.. my first question then is - if you are already making money online, how do you do it?

Why do we get stumbled out of JW's because of imperfect people?
by reniaa ini see this a lot on this forum, loads of people saying they left jw's because of "hypocritical ....... ( put elder, pioneer, couple, sister, brother, governing body) here.. but?.
why would you expect any man-run organisation if you believe the bible, to have to be perfect and not be full of imperfect people that will come across as hypocritical?.
the bible examples from israelites onwards name anyone :- moses, king david, pharasees, paul the one thing the bible doesn't do is white-wash them it shows that however much we follow the laws we are always fighting our own imperfection usually failing every time and needing to be corrected sometimes punished (moses had to give-up chance of seeing the foretold land), so why do we hold this against jw's as a reasons not to be a jw's anymore?.

This is one of the main reasons I find flawed for people to leave JW's on this forum especially if you have read the bible extensively.
( IN REPLY TO YOU I SAY: )
I can easily accept the fact we are all imperfect souls and so are they that claim to be the "discreet slave", but when they seek to take away my god given conscious that is vital for me in the worship of my god by means of forcing their laws upon me by intimidation such as making it gospel that I or others cannot rejoice at the birth of my children and others each year when (nowhere in the bible does it say we must not celebrate a birthday) if we choose to, or I must feel guilty for eating a turkey on a given day, or that we must only use Jehovah’s Witness publications for bible research or else be reprimanded, or that I must instruct my children not to pursue higher education in order for them to better provide for them self’s or for their family and children. The amount of control that the hierarchy of Jehovah's Witnesses inflict on their members is disgusting to say the least, their members are so drunk on their hypnotic control, like fools they feel with all their heart that it is impossible to serve god unless you have a group of men instructing you what to think on everyday matters. Just take a good look at the demeanor and faces of the polygamist women in that Texas compound when asked a question they are like zombies and very much like many Jehovah's Witnesses, if judge Rutherford had not caused a schism and made his own sect and if the Witness's would have stayed with the original Bible Students there would still have been some sanity left and so many children and others would not have had to die needlessly because of refuseing blood whoops here is that scary word: cult like thinking. When everyone is thinking the same no one is thinking at all!

Thinking of becoming a Witness again and my reasons for doing so :(
by reniaa ini've been a faded jw for 10 years i left because of my failed first marriage, i'm no hypocrite and realised i had left completely so i embraced the world and dived in, only christmas and birthdays i could not get into, they were too foreign to me having never celebrated them, like if i suddenly tried to do ramadan or something like that.. 1/ all the criticisms of the people in the truth you say on here, i've found in the world, warts and all only in the world nothing holds them back from being utterly horrible to you.. 2/ i got stabbed by a worldly boyfriend, i got married 2 times of my own choosing to men outside the truth, the first smoked and was an alcoholic, the second gambled every penny we had and defrauded me out of money after we separated, 2 divorces later i am currently pregnant and a single mum since current boyfriend decided kids was to much of a responsibility and he needed his freedom and i was 'too selfish to expect him to give up his life'.. 3/ parents-in-law!
i have been shunned by them as equal to anything you accuse witness families of and for the silliest of reasons, i had a disabled son and his grandparents said they wanted nothing to do with him because they didn't want to become attached in case he died.. 4/ i miss the honest friendships of the truth, i had friends of all ages from 14 to 80 years old and they genuinely cared for me, many trying to keep me in the faith a long time after i left but i was determined to fade so moved away completely, but i find friendships in the world so shallow in comparison and very hard to sustain :( i've never been a drinker and sometimes thats what friendship means you being a companion for them to goto pub with.. 5/ my recent boyfriend was in a christian religion, i thought why not find out about it, harvest churches if you ever heard of them, unfortunately it still hasn't stop him leaving me pregnant and alone and when i said to him how does he clear that with god, he replies "as long as i repent it doesn't matter" it's like he has a "get out of jail free card" for any wrong-doing in the bible, this is so alien to me and my witness trained conscience.. 6/ i recently out of frustration tried looking into atheism and joined their forums, it wasn't fun, they are as bombastic and arrogant as their religious counterparts can be from any religion, they make a religion out of not believing in god, it's very weird they talk of saving people from believing in god and offer nothing to replace it.
they said to me "be happy you are in reality now and enjoy it" and i thought "well if this is reality i've had enough of it".

So here I am feeling like the prodigal daughter and thinking being among warm-hearted if strict people who will accept me back and give me a sense of community again that I haven't seen in any other christian faith for all I've looked, has gotta be better than being shoved and shunned and used by people who have stopped caring for each other and only think of themselves.
Your thoughts please?
Well Virginia, being in the so called "truth" is no sure way of finding a good marriage partner I wish it was but it’s not. And by the same token nothing holds anyone back from being mean to anyone except you (our selfs), people are people everywhere it sounds like to me your people picker is broke.
Some people need to have others do their thinking for them, it sounds like you are one of these people, don’t feel bad most Jehovah’s Witnesses have to have a organization or (others tell them how to think and what to do on most life choices, thus the attraction to cults and groups like them.
Again concerning your son, if you let people shun you and take their crap and let them heap it on you and those you love then I think you deserve it then to a degree, but remember your loved ones who cannot make rational informed choices should not be subjected to it under the guise of (truth and love of god).
You know really now, Christ is what matters not any religious group or more importantly the organization of Jehovah’s Witnesses who are led by a bunch demigods.

Does anyone know? Question about early JW beliefs.
by hotchocolate inhelloooo people .
i was under the impression that the witnesses didn't have any belief in an earthly class until 1935-ish.. and yet in 1925 (?
) they built beth sarim in san diego to house the faithful men of old when they returned to earth.
