  you are all well aware of the fact that i went to the dc last weekend.. most of you are also aware of a situation i have with a young kid my age who is in my circuit.

  if not, here's the cliff notes on it.

  he turned me in and got me put on reproof.

  first they should have changed "godly obedience" to "society obedience".

  i have never heard obey the gb pushed so hard in all my years as i dub.

  Cyrus, that's the exact reason why they don't want people to go to college, because it teaches critical thinking skills. One of my professors layed into our class pretty good last semester because we kept on pestering him for the answers to specific questions. He told us that the main purpose of university is developing critical thinking skills and if we develop these we wouldn't need to look up the answers all the time.

  when we see news reports of jehovahs witnesses who are reported to have done something bad, what do we think?

  sometimes people ridicule us for that.

  need info to refute upcoming paper story on convention in town

  just found out that our nice arena we just built is being used for jw conventions for the next 4 weeks, so i know there will be a bit in our local paper.

  do any have anything here they may have already posted that may help me -in letter style to editor- to refute the lovliness of the jws at their conventions.. thanks.

  if any on this board have relatively currant pictures of the gb and nethinim please post them here.

  i think if all the lurkers could actually see how pathetically old these people are who run the organization, it might open thier eyes to the fact that they are letting people that should for all intents and purposes should be retired and a good portion should be in a nursing home, and the real possiblity that many suffer from dimentia while continuing to overseer the spiritual need of the world wide brotherhood.. certainly thier advanced age is showing up in the dumbing down of all the currant literature.

  so i think a few pictures would nicely illustrate this.
