I detect a good chemistry between DT and VP and it appears that relations between US and them should improve greatly. It also seems that cooperation with a purpose is what they both want. It does appear to me that they like each other.

Do You Hope Donald Trump Makes Jestures Of Mending USA With Russia Relationships?
by Brokeback Watchtower ini think the problems the us and russia face are mainly ideological.
the cold war these two countries have been in needs to be stopped and common sense needs to be applied i hope trump can push thing in the right direction and that he has good advisors.
i'm all for these two major world military powers to put away their differences and find way to work together on common problems they face.. they need to cooperate with each other even in their cyber warfare.

I think that a person armed with a bachelor's or a master's in engineering, hopefully, should be bright enough to make money inspite of the piece of paper.

Never had an "instructor" in college -only professors. Called them doctor so and so. -But they do have assistant professors and suchlike instructors that help out in teaching some courses; community colleges have lots of them; But so do name brand Universities. One of my partners taught a science class in Columbia before getting his Ph.D.-- he was as only an instructor.

engineering programs....You need to be really good at math, memorize a lot of stuff and be able to solve problems — but none of this really requires critical thinking.
Lol, Rofl.

Episode 4 of This JW Life is out now......
by dubstepped inspent all day yesterday writing two episodes and recording and editing one podcast of this jw life.
so, episode 4 of my podcast is now out.
i took a minute away from my story (though it is still laced throughout this one) to lay out what goes on inside of a kingdom hall, who the players are, what they believe, and hopefully set a foundation that will help explain my story as one.

North Korean Gift to "American Bastards" for Independence Day
by cofty innk has taken another important step towards having a viable nuclear arsenal with the successful trial of an icbm.. kim jong-un says new missile is 'gift' to 'american bastards' from north korea on independence day.. one major hurdle left for kim jong-un is working out how to make his nuclear bombs small enough to be delivered by the missile.
that is not an insurmountable obstacle.. the us sate department have issued a statement stating that it "will never accept a nuclear-armed north korea".
how exactly to prevent this outcome is not clear.

US cannot stop NK without military force and NK is not going to back down because of US threats and yippiddy yap as NK military taunts and torture of US citizens prove.
Only now when NK claims they can deliver an international nuclear package is the US saying they will do something about stopping NK. Well, how about stopping them before they got to this stage? They couldn't, otherwise they would have. And now, they can't stop them either without military force. The US invaded Iraq, killed SH and his family overthrowing that government -which stands as a warning against weak dictators that won't play ball with US. How weak is NK?
If NK already has nukes, it is too late to stop them. Amidst all the internal US problems, war with NK at this time could cripple the US more.
What is likely to happen is a diplomatic settlement wherein the US will have to play ball with NK same as the world has to do with China, Russia and Pakistan - try stopping them from having nukes.

Books are not dying out and this is not the reason for the WT turning to tablets
by slimboyfat inthere's a popular misconception that books in general are in terminal decline, that this is the reason the wt organisation has turned to tablets instead of print, and this in turn has created a financial crisis for the organisation which traditionally relied upon publishing books for income.
this is wrong on a number of levels.
firstly physical books are not in terminal decline, they are as popular as ever with consumers.

Watchtower teaches that Jesus dying on the stake is no longer certain
by Listener inthe watchtower has held for many years that jesus died on a stake and held strongly to this teaching.
w 1951 3/15 the above agrees with the new world translation of the christian greek scriptures in its appendix, page 769, in saying that the instrument upon which jesus was nailed was a stake without a crossbeam, and not the religiously represented “cross”; and that the greek word used for that instrument in ancient time meant a “stake” and not the conventional religious cross.
they are no longer certain on this point.

Many view the cross as the most common symbol of Christianity. However, the Bible does not describe the instrument of Jesus’ death, so no one can know its shape with absolute certainty. Still, the Bible provides E V I D E N C E that Jesus died, not on a cross, but on an upright stake.
There is a difference between evidence and proof (absolute certainty).

Empirical evidence; proof. The superlative experience any human can have and very personal. Without the vision, but same as Isaiah felt when he saw a vision of God sitting on his throne. The fulfillment of "They will have to know that I am Jehovah." You don't need anything more out of life, you found it. You are convinced for life; you know what you know. Same operation of God's Holy Spirit as recorded in the Bible. You don't need any more evidence, not manna coming down from heaven, not an angel nor the sea opening up. All that is missing is justice, vengeance, vindication and RELIEF.
