Jesus is Michael the Archangel
by Fisherman inonly jesus has the power and authority to defeat satan and kick him out of heaven:.
“now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our god and the authority of his christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our god.”.

—On the other hand, disguised as a snake, his identity is unmistakably exposed and revealed in Revelation whereas Jesus’s is only implied and other hints about Jesus leaves it up to the reader and student to conclude for himself but not with certainty. —So much for core beliefs about the interpretation of prophecy and mostly everything in the Bible. -

with an archangel's voice"
Poetic language of the Bible. Implying and hinting and not directly revealing identity. Such as the language of prophecy.

The very idea is laughable.
They got the message and read the handwriting on the wall when the end came.
Imagine the look on their faces when they finally realized that God had abandoned them and welched on his covenant to protect them on Passover, the anniversary of their freedom. After all, they were in Jerusalem because God required it under the law covenant which the Apostles had been preaching that God had abolished. That’s the proof right there.

Simple Question Re 1914
by Slidin Fast inwt claims that satan was thrown out of heaven in october 1914 precipitating ww!
and the end times.
a small problem with that is ww1 started on july 28th 1914 whilst satan was still in heaven picking his nose.. how did we not see this and waste years of precious life?

Complete nonsense.
It is not
Ad hominem fallacy. Even if it is assumed to be true, the events of chapter 19 would be after the ‘tribulation’, and there is no justification for conflating the horses in chapters 6 and 19.
Wrong
Anyway, believe what you like and have fun doing it.

Nope. I see no reason to play along with a ‘begging the question’ fallacy.
Your logic is based on the premise that the Bible is false but the premise in this discussion is that the Bible is true so your conclusions are based on a false premise relating to this discussion. You need to take a logic course.

The rider of the horse in Revelation chapter 6 isn’t named,
Rev19:11,14:14,Psalms:45:44 describes the rider. —The literary device and poetic language of the Bible is for believers. I see you reject the Bible so this discussion is not for you since you cannot even think in terms of assuming the Bible is true.

writing after the destruction of Jerusalem but framing it as before to give the appearance of ‘prophecy’,
This discussion assumes the authenticity of the Bible. Whether or not that is true is a different subject matter.

the ‘parousia’ was explicitly described as occurring after the tribulation had ended, and within a generation of Jesus’ time.
Not at all. There was no parousia involving the whole earth in 70 and a Millennium that followed. Also, Jesus returns invisible riding a war horse before the great tribulation.
An incorrect parsing of the analogy, but ultimately unimportant
You are no trier of law here only an advocate like me. Onus is on you to debunk or show how irrelevant. I’ve shown it is relevant.

The comparison of the parousia to the Flood of Noah emphasizes the suddenness of the event that will END an ongoing state of affairs. What was arriving to those on the earth was the Flood itself; it wasn't "invisibly present" beforehand.
You forgot to mention the ark being built and completed and Noah’s preaching ( a preacher of righteousness). They took no note. Jesus told the Pharisees: “ The kingdom of God os in your midst” It didn’t catch anybody by surprise, Noah was expecting a flood and the people were aware a flood was coming for 120 years. They just didn’t believe it. They were eating and drinking and rejecting the message from God. So the flood did not come unexpectedly without knowledge or warning. They were told that they were living in the time of the end. Noah didn’t know the day or the hour but he knew he was living in the time of the end. So, the flood did not come suddenly in the sense that nobody was expecting it to happen. The Parousia like the days of Noah involves a period of time, the time of the end identified by the sign of christ presence and people rejecting the good news of the kingdom until the climax when the son of man is revealed.
During the time of the end Jesus is riding a white horse so that is part of the Parousia First he came on a colt finally on a horse of war. He certainly is present riding that horse, conquering tilll a completion and other horses follow. “ Go subdoing in the MIDSTS of your enemies.” The Messiah was also invisible to the Jews. He was an elephant in the room performing miracles and doing God’s work in their midsts.
It was about Noah and the ark not about the flood. The flood was against God’s enemies, the ark and Noah for his friends. The sign of the son of man like the flood is for God’s enemies that didn’t take note.
