Since the future exists according to prophecy and the future is about conduct people have not yet decided upon, it could be argued that free will doesn’t exist and a person has no choice because it is already written in the future but that is like saying that God created Satan knowing what he would do and then blame God for knowingly creating evil. So it seems but by nature of the qualities that describes YHWH, he is just and good and if a person did not truly have a choice to begin with and was predestined to do evil then the God of the Bible could not exist.

A new generation of anointed that will not pass away.
by Fisherman inobviously, the older “ anointed ” from 1914 died.
and because they were anointed, they hopefully went to heaven.
in the first century though, a newer generation did not replace the old.

The great tribulation will “shortly” hit any day now just as wt has been saying all along and since it will happen before the new generation of “anointed” passes away, this would prove that the latest generation definition of inter-lapping anointed is right on the money. No other definition of generation is possible to fulfill the prophecy: “This generation will by no means pass away..” —Which according to wt is based on passing away with relation to the year 1914.

You also have to define what do you mean by free will because a cat does whatever it wants but does that mean it has free will? Actually animals act on instinct but humans can choose whether or not they will obey laws or moral standards.

Sinful humans and sin is proof that free will exists even among the angels and Jesus.

RIP Olivia Newton-John
by Slidin Fast insad to hear of her passing.
it's sad and weird when the images live on but the source succumbs to the human condition.. i'm sure canabis and plant based products helped her through the pain but i hope she didn't rely on them for a cure..

I certainly think that there can be.
I agree! With medical treatment I have seen remarkable results and medical science offers much hope in the near future. I don’t believe that quackery or herbal or natural “cures” have any value whatsoever in treating cancer. It is a false hope. I don’t blame people for trying but not instead of scientific treatments. But never new age magic cures. For pain killers in advance stages of cancer, everything is on the table except magic including addictive substances and addiction would be my last concern.

Funny how all of a sudden cannabis is legal. Must be because people running for public office have used it in the past and admitting to use may disgrace or disqualify and lying about not using it may get them in trouble later on.

20 Things I Don't Understand about Jehovah's Witnesses
by Vanderhoven7 ini don’t understand how jehovah’s witnesses can rightly claim:.
that less than 150,000 faithful christians existed prior to the 20th century....when allegedly millions were martyred during the first 3 centuries of the common era alone.
unique ability to interpret scripture...when interpretation of prophecy has been 100% wrong for over 130 years.. .

Still, no answers to my questions...
Read the posts on this site by “scholar” on this topic and my commentary on those threads. But if you have facts other than the interpretation and conclusions please show. Your posts so far are assertions.

they've been wrong once, how can you be sure they are not wrong now?
But the approach to Bible interpretation is honest and correct and there is good reason to believe they are correct
Like saying science has been wrong before thus science is unreliable. However that is fallacious logic.

No interpretation here, facts
That is your assertion. The only fact is that the conclusion you allude to based on interpretation of the evidence.
What you further post is also commentary and feel free to have your view. We disagree. No secret. Jw publishes their position. I am convinced of WT argument. -

Watchtower leaders have been false teachers and incompetent Bible interpreters from the start.
Not at all. They JW deciphered the meaning and theme of the Bible and that can only be done with God’s help. They have also published their findings to a global magnitude helping people to get a better understanding of God’s word. And have translated the Bible to the modern language of the people in practically every language on earth. JW help people to put their faith hope and confidence in God. Obviously JW make mistakes but they do their best. Jesus will judge JW works and efforts when he separates the sheep and goats—as he will also judge each person.
