Have JW `s ever faced the topic of Jesus having inherited Adamic sin ?
by smiddy3 inaccording to the bible all humans male and female have inherited sin because of adam and eve`s disobedience to god .. god may have impregnated mary with a life force , however it was still sinful mary who gave birth to jesus after nine months in her body who is /was supposedly without sin ?.
mary must have passed on some of her sinful state to jesus having been in her womb for the past nine months , surely.
and there is nothing in the bible / scripture to say otherwise ?.

No matter how we wish the tale to be true, the internal evidence is lacking today.
The other way around. No matter how persuasive it is not true from a secular explanation, not only did the son of God confirm it is true but the entire Bible is about Gen 3:15. It is written in stone. It must be true. It is true by definition. It is hard to believe it.

“Heaven and Earth will pass away but my words will by no means pass away.”
by Fisherman in“this generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur.
heaven and earth will pass away but my words will by no means pass away.”.
the destruction of jerusalem is insignificant in the large scheme of things.

You have nothing but the empty promises of people men……
That’s your interpretation Judaism has theirs, so do Muslims and everyone else. I’m not trying to change it or argue. JW publishes theirs. I concur with JW grasp and understanding of Scripture. I’ve presented to you support for JW position. That’s all an advocate can do. Telling me i’m misled inter alia doesn’t falsely what I’ve presented and it is immaterial.
—What do I know.

does not give Jehovah's Witnesses the right to add to the gospel and make Extra-biblical dates and loyalty to men requirements for baptism.
By who’s authority?
JW proclaim they are the authority, the only true religion on earth and God’s agency to the nations. Based on JW being God’s organization you are equivocating.
For example back in the 1 century the apostles had authority from God. There were those that were going around believing that the resurrection already occurred and other beliefs and such of a different faith were not true Christians although believing in Jesus (as brought out in the epistles ) as many do today.
Today, JW claim to have authority from God which gives them jurisdiction on qualifications for baptism. If you reject that, it’s up to you.
However, JW are not adding to the gospels in their interpretation of 1914 either. As JW interpret the gospel JC alluded to the Gentile Times in the future which adds up to 1914 as JW see it.
JW interpretations and claims haven’t been debunked. 1914 adds up and there is evidence JW publish to support it.

about a tale for which there is no evidence.
Depends on how you are defining evidence. For example, Jesus validated the tale as true. And because Jesus provided empirical evidence aka miracles to prove his credentials, we can believe Jesus based upon his being God’s son and having existed in heaven making him an authority.

The gospel and the requirements for Christian baptism are not a matter of interpretation
Sure it does because there is “one Lord and one faith and one baptism” and if you worship Jesus or Mary or believe in hellfire or believe every christian goes to heaven or reject beliefs and teachings of JW such as interpretation of the 7x prophecy, you are not of the same one faith as JW.
As you already know, JW do not accept other versions of Christianity or their baptisms.

Was Jesus the Messiah circumcised ?
by smiddy3 inhas this question ever been raised before by jehovah`s witnesses?
and what`s the significance, if any ?.
-
Fisherman
in no way was Jesus of Nazareth a Messiah.
That’s not the subject. Obviously all Jewish males needed to be circumcised but given that Jesus was the Messiah as described in the CHS aka NT, being the son of God and perfect, etc, is there anything on the NT that we can conclude that JC was circumcised. In this topic it is immaterial whether or not what the Bible days about him is true.

There is nothing in the Bible about the 1914 generation. Watchtower has added 1914 and 1919 to the gospel.
Depends upon how one interprets the Bible. Not everything in the Bible is clearly stated and defined. Much of the Bible is written in poetic language, literary device, allusions, implication, allegory, prophetic language, specially prophecy . Take for example the prophecy in Daniel foretelling his arrival in the first century. Obviously, God intended the ambiguous or equivocal language. “Let those who have ears listen.” and
“I publicly praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intellectual ones and have revealed them to young children.
and
For this judgment I came into this world, that those not seeing might see and those seeing might become blind.”
So, God’s spirit is also a factor. Not saying that JW is right or wrong in their interpretations involving 1914 in this rebuttal to you, only bringing the point that interpretation and discernment is also needed.

Watchtower looses Norwegian Appeal
by Diogenesister inwatchtower has just lost its appeal in the norwegian courts over the withdrawal of the funding it receives from the government as an officially recognised religion.
the initial decision will now stand due to what the court termed 'exclusionary practices' which includes the witnesses barbaric practice of shunning minors, even by family members in their own homes.
the ministry of children and families have decided they are now no longer eligible for the state grant of 16 million norwegian kroner given to officially recognised religions.. the following is a statement has been issued, i have summarised if it isn't readable: .

Why should people be taxed to support religion?
Makes sense but Caesar does what it likes with taxes it collects juxtaposition property taken from JW that they bought with their own money in countries like Rissua. Fair to say that compared to the churches and other religions, the JW do not receive gov funding although as a legitimate religion they do qualify for tax exempt status, and to target JW and impose the tax based on not being a religion is bogus unless JW don’t meet some other legal requirement of the country.

they had a reason. Shunning of minors is violating childrens rights.
They always have a reason. The issue is whether shunning is child abuse legally. I pointed out that the State punishes children not considered child abuse legally.
JW want their children to have Bible moral values when they grow up. Even as children, there are consequences to conduct. The State will take the kids away from the parents if they commit crimes and that ain’t child abuse or lock up their parents and that ain’t child abuse as I already pointed out. Seems the reasons here have an ulterior motive behind it all, they don’t like JW to begin with and construing ways to stop them.
