e I got robbed big time.
Thats’s your side of the story but it also depends on the terms you agreed to. If you were defrauded, there are remedies such as a lawsuit and a complaint to competent authorities. My bank for example has integrated terms that any fraudulent credit card deductions are guaranteed for a few months. After that, they don’t pay. But if a person has a lot of transactions, fraudulent charges may slip through, and if you finally realize it after their time frame they won’t reimburse you but you agreed to this in terms of service. Your only remedy is to sue the entity that robbed you.

The fact that they are willing to comply with mandatory reporting when it is the law,
It seems to be the rule that when you are a victim of a crime or report a crime that you witness, you get entangled in the legal proceedings. Reporting a crime creates legal problems for the person reporting. It is not so clear cut to go and report crimes to the authorities. If a person can legally avail himself to counsel, that may be a defense from the legal consequences and problems that can result from reporting a crime. What a person chooses to do on his own though is up to the person and reap benefits or consequences.
J W elders are functionaries of the JW church entity and are required to follow orders—sort of speak . If they don’t want to, they are acting outside their authority. It seems that the JW policy is for their church officials to report crimes to their legal department. This means that the church and elders involved in the incident are legally represented by counsel— but wouldn’t shield the elder from personal liability but that’s why he went to a lawyer to begin with. The law firm also may be liable because they are required to do what the law mandates. For example, if a person goes to a lawyer to confess a crime or report a crime doesn’t release him of liability because he informed his lawyer. The law firm is also required to do things without breaking laws.
The only issue here is if the WT doing things relating to mandatory reporting without breaking the law. The Courts also have jurisdiction over natural justice relating to unclean hands, unfairness, deceptiveness, misrepresentations that results in injury to someone if someone is using the law to harm others. But all this is legal and not moral. The law doesn’t govern good and bad. An example of this is legal se$ual conduct or legal a*ortions that a lot of people find shocking and offensive and immoral and wrong—but very legal. JW like everyone else are not above the rule of secular law but if the only issue with mandatory reporting is your moral standard vs JW what can the Courts do?
Based on 1A people can ridicule and bring public awareness about policies —which is bad publicity. The institution may as a result be pressured to change but if it is a core belief or elemental on how things are done it will remain the same. How many people are pressured to change their immoral conduct because of 1A preaching to them about it? Just a thought.
Ultimately, children need to be protected and the Courts and the law have that power so that people don’t use the law resulting in helpless children being abused.

"for survival ... they have to remain organized with the anointed remnant, the 'chosen ones'
That applies to JW. JW teaches a blanket protection to JW as a group. Individual JW that don’t follow direction may get trapped inside the encirclement of the “Roman armies.” That is one aspect of survival that applies to JW. Of course, non JW that do not have that spiritual protection that comes from following direction ( according to JW) are in the same danger zone. So, JW believe that there is a divine protection over those that are JW. How everything actually plays out, JW don’t say they know. What JW assert, is that in a blanket sort of way, JW is the road to life.
It was once believed that the preaching work separated the sheep and goats and that made a lot of sense if the preaching work had any relevance towards salvation. One material for judgement was the response to the good news.
Now, the preaching work has the same value but the separation and judgement is later on.
Also have to factor in JW belief that BTG will be destroyed and there will be a vindication of JW religion. Fighters against JW = fighting God’s holy spirit ( as jw see it) and those found fighters won’t be saved. So pretty much people that reject and fight JW won’t be saved. But there are other people that fall into special situations and God is the judge of that. Ultimately God is the final judge. Pharisees in JC day were thrown into Gehenna only for “wicked” speech according to Jesus. So the same judgement can be expected at Armageddon.
Again , all this is interpretation. And we @JW believe, and it makes a lot of sense but as the article admitted: We just don’t know who will individually
survive Armageddon . JW do assert and believe and proclaim that JW as a group will survive. There seems to be a distinction between Armageddon and Judgement day. I suppose that Armageddon encompasses judgement of the living but it ain’t over until after the Millennium.

So, is Watchtower thinking that Jehovah is opening the door so that every honest hearted church member and church leader may now survive Armageddon?
This is not a new teaching. JW always believe that it is the agency God uses on earth, the only way, the only group. Ultimately, our Lord JC does the final judging of each individual, however —in or outside JW religion. According to Rev, only a great crowd of christians survive the great tribulation. Will the judge of all the earth not do what is right.

There's plenty of historical evidence.
Maybe but one should be careful to distinguish between fact, evidence and proof. And going back to your assertion that I am replying to, Olof did not prove his conclusions. And convincing vast majorities does not make it a historical fact either.
WT stands on its belief with its own evidence until facts falsify them.

Is the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses REALLY the "faithful and discreet slave" of Matt. 24:45-47?
by Roger Kirkpatrick inthesis: when someone who is given a responsibility mistakes that responsibility for authority, bullying is very likely to occur.. jesus spoke an illustration recorded at matthew 24: 45-51 which well illustrates this thesis.. jesus asked, “who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over all his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time?
happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so.
truly i say to you, he will appoint him over all his belongings.

if you don't believe in them, regardless of your faith in Christ,
That doesn’t truly represent the faith because WT publishes it can be wrong admitting human error in interpreting the Bible. It stands to reason then that wt does not teach damnation standing on belief in wt error.
Think of an approach to study the Scriptures like solving a crossword puzzle where everyone agrees to solve the puzzle together and abide by the same rules. If you don’t, you are not part of the group.
Also, if you don’t agree with the way of JW and believe in a better way, you answer to God not to JW. Pursue what ever way one likes. JW are happy with their way and approach to study and understanding the Bible and living compared to the standard Jesus gave.

Wt includes all JW in this case not only the fds that God uses exclusively.

We don’t know. That’s why the question is asked in the Bible: “Who really is..? Only one that can answer that is JC. The liked Marvin Shilmer posted that they don’t even know because for many decades gb professed that all of the anointed was fds but now it it is only the gb, the rest of the anointed never was and insnt fds. However, we @ JW believe that the gb was and is fds.

Then, how come you view it as interpretation?!
Because it is not a historical fact.
