SAD NEWS. MY FATHER HAS DIED

only about 15 minutes ago, i learned that my father died up the hospital this morning.

I have concluded that God exists. Based on that, I am convinced that there is something more than the life we experience. With the conviction of God's existence, I have reason for hope.

At present, I have a different perspective on the Bible than what I once had, particularly on how the Bible is applied by religious movements. I feel that my intense analysis of the Bible has made me a better human because I have ben able to develop to some extent some of the virtues it teaches.

I dont waste my time feeling guilty about my shortcomings and failures. I don't feel that such things affect my hope for relief from God or his mercy.At the same time I do not think that God can be any less merciful towards someone else. I can understand getting angry and punishing someone that has caused harm but not wiping out their existence unless to stop that person from continuing doing harm.

I am devastated with failed expectations but I am unable to abandon the hope of everlasting life. I dont know with certainty if in a spirit realm or on earth but I want it to be where all of my fmily and loved ones are.

With the technology, how can the elders keep judicial meetings from being recorded? A challenge in deed. If the elder knew as he stated that the meeting was being recorded, then he errred in going though with it. If he knew, then he allowed the recording

I have my feelings about BTs because of wts teachings but also because of medical evidence documenting the dangers. If not for the wts I never would have felt as I do. I am happy that the wts has exposed the other side of blood adverting me not to trust medical science blindly.

I think that I will avoid blood when possible without being a martyr. I want bloodles medicine. I am doing research to reach a conclusion whether I will ever risk getting blood treatments under certain conditions. Your info is helpful.

I think that blood can potentialy transmit diseases other than infectious diseases. Perhaps you can show that blood cannnot transmit disease.

I agree rebel. THey are feelings but also thughts about displeasing God. I would rather die that be infected with hiv or have my liver destroyed. THat is how I feel now healthy. If I am facing immediate death, I really dont know what I will do. Probably I would want life and risk it

i called a kh this morning a little past 9 am and talked to a sister.

i told her i had moved into town and had studied a few years ago, but they wouldn't let me get baptised because i didn't accept the wt teachings about blood transfusions.

she was all excited, because they had a meeting about blood just this past week about that and she could answer my questions.

There are diverse schools of thoughtt in interpeting scripture. Case in point Moshe: The orthodox sect Satmar denounces the state of Israel and is alleged to give support to palestine. The karta another jewish sect residing in the republic of Israel backs up and fights with the Palestinians against Israel allegedly. All this because of interpretation of Scripture.

It is noteworthy that the Torah records God executing individuals in ancient Israel for violting the Sabath. The torah also very clealry states the death sentence for other violations of Jewsih law and nowhere in the written torah do rabbis have any appointment or authority from God whatsoever.

While it is true that all modern jewish movements allow the breaking of jewish laws for life sake, (which makes sense): working on yom shabos, eating non kosher food including pork and so on to save a life, ultarorthox movements have extreme views according to orthodox jews. It is alleged by the wts and jws that jews belonging to various movements did attack and cause physical injury to jws on various occassions for preaching in the United States of America. One jw woman was blinded in one eye by a jewish mob for preaching. I personally did observe a group of orthodox jews beat the living daylights out of a man kicking him in the face and stomping on him while he was on the floor on 13th ave in brooklyn, on the sabbath! Jws cannot preach in jewsih territory in the United States of America because jewish mobs form very quickly and attack jws. 60 percent of my friends are jewish. I am only stating what I know.

I think that blood is risky. I would not take blood frivoulusly. Many medical proceedures have been done with blood and without blood succesfuly and may indivuals ahve been horribly infected and killed with blood. Great to have the freedom to choose..

I still have the wts mentality on blood. It is deeply rooted and ingrained. I cannot reason it away.

My friend a jw had a premature baby. Doctors forced a blood tranfusison. Within hours the babay died.

I am glad that I have the personal freedom to choose whether I want quarts or gallons of someone elses body fluid transfused into my body. I do not feel that a child can make that choice. Children should not be sacrificed to God by their parents respecting blood. I feel that if it is a matter of life and death, it is better to risk a blood transfusion thant to die . I would rather die though than to get infected with aids or ravaging hepatitis. Personally, I have been persuaded to believe that blood medicine does not necessarily violate Bible principles, however, I also believe that 55 gallon blood medicine is too risky and only in life and death situations does the benefits outweigh the risks.

My little girl had open heart surgery when she was 3 years old. She received blood. Thank God she is alive and healthy today. My cousin was born with the rh-factor and had all his blood replaced shorlty after his birth. He is alive and well today. Thank God. I do not think that allowing a child to die refusing blood and hoping for the resurecection is sound thinking. My heart goes out to families that regret choices based on emotion and indoctrination and now are bitter.

The Silent Lambs movement, what has it accomplished?

i think that the silent lambs is a thorn in the flesh to the wts because it has made the public aware that pedophilia is also a problem within the wts and not only with the catholic church and other religions that have been on the news, and that the wts is not such a safe have as it claims.. this publicity is embarrasing to the wts it seems to me, but i also think that the movement is putting pressure on the wts policy and the pedophiles comfortable within the wts.. i have only one concern.

i know that women seeking child custody often falsly and flagrantly accuse their spouse of this as a strategy.the courts do no want to take any chances with the possibilty of children being abused often resulting in harm to the innocent.

i feel that a false accuser of this crime should be excuted.
