  Warwick, What is it good for?

  absolutely nothing.... has anyone dared ask what they need this place for?

  think about a few things.

  in bethels hay day, there was a shit ton of literature being printed, they even need a giant factory with elevators a truck could fit in.

  Neither good or bad. WT needs a place to operate from. I gave reasons why the move from Brooklyn in other posts.

  Latest rumor - all WT construction "suspended", except for Warwick

  heard 4th-hand, but from a full-on believer, so not likely to be an "apostate lie":.

  apparently, at bethel's morning worship this morning, it was announced that all worldwide wts construction is "suspended" for an indefinite time, except for the new world headquarters at warwick.. also, the "relocation" of remote translating teams is also suspended.. finally, there will be a "worldwide" reduction in bethel personnel.. all this came to me in a non-english language, and,as noted, 4th-hand.

  so it is possible something may have been lost in translation and/or in the multiple steps between bethel morning worship & me.. but if true, it would be quite stunning.

  glad you caught it , except that if you have read any of my previous posts, you would have thought after seeing, that I never do that. I try to follow rules of logic in all of my posts instead of using logical fallacies So, there must be a purpose to my post here that you commented on. Maybe you can figure it out. (hint: read sir82 recent posts to me on other threads.) And if you can' figure it out, how about posting what you have posted to me also to sir82 in his posts to me on other threads so that he can get the point that YOU made HERE in response to my post to his post

  But in any event, thanks. You have made my point to sir82 with your post on this thread.

  Seen an Angel witnessing...

  here in france we received instruction to stand back from the cart.. so you can see "angels" witnessing with a cart by its own, no one around, and no one cares, i stayed a while, did my shopping, and half an hour later the "poor angel" was still there on his own.... i guess wherever is the publisher, he s hard working counting his hours..

  You can only speak for yourself. Ultimately, in terms of all haters, we will see what actually realizes. There is a pattern in the Bible that I posted about before, God is forced to act against the enemy of his people when they attack them.

  first off, i'd like to state that i currently have "privileges" in the congregation and volunteer at bethel on and off throughout the year.

  that's as much information as i will currently give about myself.. starting off, i think something big is coming in the form of lawsuits and bad pr.

  they seem to be batting down the hatches in preparation for something the last few years and even more so the last few months.

  Help me out:

  "Try reading" (Marvin Shilmer) my post in context and not parsing...

  Here is what I meant in the sentences that you do not like: I used the burger store to represent any business doing business in the past (in the US) compared to now. In the past, McDonalds could afford to give out a lot of free stuff, napkins, etc. Not now, and that is why if you have been a burger buyer at their business for many years, you would have noticed the difference, how they do not just give out their condiments, etc . You have to ask, and they are very careful about it. Items that cost fractions of a dollar, now cost dollars. But my post is not about burgers or napkins, I was hoping the the reader would be a little smarter than you and would see that the WT is not giving out their lit anymore the same way the golden arches was giving out napkins. Any person with 2 inches of forehead would have noticed a big difference in the price, quality and or quantity and service of any product they have been buying compared to in the past. And that is because of the reasons I gave in my post.

  In terms of why the WT could stop all projects (I doubt it) except for Warwick would be because of some event that took place or project will take place, and not because they are running out of money. They have the funds to complete all of their projects if they want. to

  Are you saying that the WT does not see the Christ's invisible presence and they do not not see the angels directing the preaching work? I think that you are going insane because I believe that they do. Besides that,THEY PUBLISH that you will be forced to see.

  Wake up! It does not cost 850+ millions to build Warwick.

  They may be worrying more about what will happen in the next couple of years than how bad things are right now

  It is a concern.

  They should not have to use the money from the sale of the properties to operate the WT. Also, they need as much $ as they can possibly get now to prepare for the financial hard times ahead. People are not donating as much as they did in the past because they cannot afford to and if the economy follows the same pattern, people will not be able to afford to donate. Besides that, the cost of doing business has almost tripled withing the last few years, and you need to have at least a minimum of double the amount of capital to operate than before. Everything costs double the price or more, so money does not buy much, also, the more financially strong, the more power to buy, to negotiate, to invest, to grow, to exist.... Wt must put itself in an extremely powerful financial position to operate with plenty of room, They will have plenty of $ left over to operate after Warwick, but that money should be used to generate more money and not to spend it.

  Today's financial situation is not like years ago when someone went into McDonald's for a burger and took took loads of napkins, etc... Everything adds up and WT is saving every penny. And they need to get as much $ now that they can.

  Some years ago, I bought a chess book with a dust cover that had an illustration of a chess game. The picture showed advancing opponent chess pieces with sadistic expressions on their faces, ( more so on the opponent's queen) surrounding an evidently doomed king. The funny thing about the illustration is that the seemingly doomed king had a big red mustache and a grin on his face, and behind his back, unseen to his opponents, his hand was armed with a massive fire weapon, cocked and ready.

  I think that the illustration meant that, (of course you do not win at chess using illegal chess moves) he knew that victory was at hand.
