We are only trying to understand scripture. Same as one plays chess or any other game. Insulting your opponent or mocking his legal moves or how he plays the game does not invalidate his moves, and neither does calling the game stupid or a waste of time makes the game non-existent --the challenge is still there like trying to solve a puzzle and only after actually putting all of the pieces together can one know if they actually fit, or the pieces don't add up. Killing your opponent in a chess game does not make you a winner of the game either; your opponent's position stands against you forever until defeated governed by the rules of the game. So is the Bible -and wt position for that matter.

In contrast, His parousia (second personal coming as described in Matthew 24:36 - end) at the end of time would not require talk of secret presence, but clear to all worldwide.

It is true that Jesus' predictions came true in 70 and I believe it is not possible for the same events to happen again in Jerusalem. However, Luke compare 21:25,26,27, with vs 31: "When you see all these things happening.." (all those things having to do with more than Jerusalem did not happen in 70 but Jesus said ALL these things and then vs32: "This generation" Hence, a parallel fulfillment makes sense to me with the parousia.
True Jesus was answering more than one question to his disciples that they probably has misconceptions about ( His parousia seperate from 70) but there is nothing in your interpretation that I can see reconciles ALL elements of related scriptures. AS I see it WT doctrine of Great Tribulation Trumps.
