  please, let's discuss this subject without attacking one another.. it appears that trump has won a victory that no one expected.

  is it possible that trump may play a part in the great tribulation?.

  there are some who believe trump is one of the most unqualified of men to ever be elected president of the united states.

  That is true and I was going to say that in my last post but I did not and I did not realize that trump was also leaving ny together with wt. Thanks for pointing out that coincidence, a keen observation I overlooked. As it relates to wt, which is the jw excitement, 2017 will reveal if the change was an indicator of the gt or will produce as data dog says "zero".

  a jw family member informed me they are filling out an application to preach the truth in israel.

  interested ones in the congregation were asked to start saving now, as the cost of the flights would be their own responsibility.

  the time frame for this preaching work is for a couple of weeks in may/june 2017. the applications are to be turned in this sunday.

  end times chronology they have preached for decades isn't even coming close to coming true.

  Only that 'generation' is loosing all meaning. But looking at the historical pattern of when family demisses and sexual depravity based on Biblical standards is the social norm, doom can be expected.

  You are correct, that is the topic of this thread and not whether warwick is in parochial upstate NY or larger view upstate NY.

  no, I stated my beliefs for wt selling their properties in another thread. I only observe that it is ironic that wt chose to move to warwick of all places because of an allusion to move to war wicked. I also posted that given the gt, it does not depend on the individual dt, but there is an irony - that is what I observe. I have also posted on many threads that with or without dt, the wt message of impending gt looses all meaning in a year or so, pure speculation on my part but I have posted exactly how I see the chess board. But to say the gt will happen because dt will cause it or somehow depends on wt going somewhere other than the heights, I see no need other than as wt claims they have direction from God to move to warwick.

  This is a moot discussion. The subject matter is the move to warwick. And not its geographic location. WT does not need the properties in downtown Brooklyn any longer. The end of an era.

  In the US, decades ago, to think of one Jewish group (orthodoxy leadership was one of them) committed outrageous violent crimes against JW including their females (Imagine that!) Fiat from Bethel was to forgive and not to take legal action by individual JW harmed by the thugs. As it turned out, the leader of the group wound up murdered and the group was sterilized -just to mention part of the consequences of what the fate if a thug turns out to be.

  So sorry, you have even the geography wrong.

  You are attempting to preach to the angels. Any county north of the Bronx is referred to and viewed as upstate - out of the city by city livers. I was not attempting to use the term upstate to conform to a definition or to what is considered upstate geographically speaking, but only to mean that the wt is moving up and out of" the city"from the 5 boroughs, up the state or upstate, that is all I meant, being very aware of NYS geography. The hillbillies living in hamilton refer to kingston which is in Ulster as downstate, imagine that.

  why didn't god also reveal himself to the canaanites just as he did to moses in the burning bush so that the massacre/genocide of the canaanites could have been avoided?.

  why didn't god also invite the native palestinians into his covenant, giving them the same laws he gave the israelites, and establish an egalitarian society where people of all races could live together in harmony?.

  instead, he ordered his people to invade and slaughter the natives, killing them to the last man, woman and child, specifically instructing them to show no mercy to anyone under any circumstances.

  Wt is not Alexander the Great - and it is their chess game not anyone else's.

  Did you not see the JW march up and down Court Street triumphantly every day in downtown Brooklyn for a century after trumping every Court battle in the US Supreme Court and in every Court in the USA more than anyone in the history of the US -all attempts to wipe out the wt failed. WT property towers over the Court buildings in the Heights and in Brooklyn -now it's Trumps' when they ain't there no more. Their victory is complete. All these recent Court cases are all anti/climax. But so what if nothing happen for another 300 years and wt only remains one of many religion?

  And so, what about their 100 year "prophetic"message and massive world wide preaching work reaching people living in 3 different centuries? And spanning the entire 20th Century that resulted in the forming of a new religion. That is what wt is all about and time is up after preaching for a 100 years that the world is about to end soon.

  So now that the time is up, corresponds with a move upstate. Let's see what happens.
