What was President Trump supposed to answer?
He was asked a question which he avoided answering.
bombing in five, like President Reagan.Reagan did not avoid answering.
Presidents are not required to answer every question that the press throws at them, specially when there are a lot of bad intentions behind the question.
I never said that US Presidents are required to answer every question that the press throws at them -for whatever reasons they have for not answering or for whatever reasons or justifications you conclude that DT avoided answering the related question.
His critics won't give him the benefit of the doubt, that is the essence of my comment.I don't see any relevance in your above statement to the fact that DT did not answer the question. And the reason that DT gave for not answering it, was, as he told the reporter, to paraphrase DT-you can listen for yourself his exact words- DT said in reply: "I am not negotiating with you." All I said was: 'Hmmmmm' because it was a very interesting question (and a very interesting reply) that has been on my mind and in the minds of a lot of people too; especially in light of the fact that KJU has not surrendered his cookies lately. Maybe, Don. T. will make KJU an offer he can't refuse when or if 'negotiating' with KJU but other than that, I can't see DT risking a nuclear explosion anywhere in the US from China, Russia, NK or anyone else with the ability to shoot nuclear missiles at us -and that could mean allowing NK to keep its toys- that's all I'm saying, and also because DT did not negate it when asked.
Off Topic : BTW, I respect DT, specially in the way he is confronting US problems and attempting to find solutions.
