  Is Disfellowshipping properly legislated?

  in the insight book under expelling, it refers to 1 cor 5 and titus 3 and 2 thess 3 as the basis for disfellowshipping.they've often said that the governing body was stated in acts 15 of the apostles and older men.

  however, why was there no decree or letter issued by the governing body or apostles and older men and sent out to the congregations, detailing the principles of disfellowshipping?

  So, why is a doctrine and procedure created based on only what Paul said?

  In a legal setting a person that is disorderly or breaks a law can be trespassed from private or even public property for a year or longer because he is encroaching on others. In a church setting or JW community a member who breaks the rules and doesn’t want to stop disrupts the practicing of religion by others in the group. If he doesn’t stop, he is put out.   I will say that when a wt illustrator creates a drawing or painting, he or she has used a real JW person as a model. Do you think wt is going risk getting sued by copying somebody else’s work? Does wt graphics department need to copy or can’t they create something themselves. Obviously they can and they do. Sometimes unintentionally it turns out similar or maybe someone can argue that it was intentional but wt has the resources to create original artwork.

  I find it interesting that after the cult people still hold on to religion....

  im not an atheist, makes no mathematical sense, nor does the buy(more) bull(shit) god make any logical sense... maybe a deist on my best day, in the end you cannot get something from nothing, paradox if you ask me... but in reality i just dont care.

  while in, and moving out of the cult, its like a roller coaster, emotionally, yet, for me, over time, i just take it one day at a time, and if appeasing some special deity is required, well i guess i failed.

  Non-sequitur. For example, in Revelation 4:10 the 144k throw their crowns of everlasting life at God’s feet.

  I would like to be on the side of a God that is invincible and neutralizes all of my enemies and brings me relief from anything bugging me. If cofty believes that ain’t loving or right, too bad and bring such people to live with him.
