Es, you got room for my wife in your suitcase? She loves to travel, especially places like Fiji. She's been to Hawaii nine or ten times.

The biggest lottery winners is the WTB&TS and they do it under the guise of being Christian!
The way they take care of 'orphans & widows' is by taking their real estate and so-called contributions to expand the Kingsom work.

im hurt, desperate, confused and considering this religion - advice?
by very_confused inlike the subject title says, i'm hurt, desperate and confused and don't know what to do anymore.
i'm so desperate to have something to live for that i'm considering converting to something like the jehovah's witnesses.
i know this might seem a bit extreme but please hear me out.

very_confused, welcome.
If you want to make a friend, make 'time' your friend. Give yourself time to think and reflect on all the information shared with you. Couple this with your personal experiences 'learn' from it, meaning draw the from 'positive' suggestions and 'apply' them. Make it your goal to think and do the positive things, believe me, its your happiness and salvation.
Your young and you have youth on your side, take advantage of it. You've been given lots of material to work from.
All the best.

I don't make a fuss over anyone going to meetings or being a JW. That's your life/business and you know your situation better than anyone of us on this forum.

Letting go of the black and white thinking...
by tall penguin ini think that this is the most difficult lesson in leaving the jw world.
the black and white thinking created such a neat little world where everything was so easily explained and categorized, provided you didn't mind living in a bubble.
i think the one area of black and white thinking that caused me the most difficulty and cognitive dissonance was the question of jehovah's will vs. satan's temptations.

T.P. I'm a risk taker. This means I will accept whatever consequence without pointing a finger. This ideology "if it is God's will or the devil made me do it" doesn't enter my mind. I live for the present. This doesn't mean I don't think or plan my life, etc, no way.
Risk taking has made me what I am today.

Advice anyone? On how men think and faithfulness.
by gabriella inthis may be kind of a long story but any input or advice would be really appreciated.. i have been married for three years to a really good guy.
he's my best friend and confidante.
not the most spontaneous person i have ever met (he says it is because he is very comfortable in the relationship).

Being married for forty three years I think I can give you a few things to think about. First, those who play with fire will eventually get burnt.
Secondly, is it possible for men to have females as friends, yes, however, this person is NOT your friend.
Thirdly, your attitude, "I wish that I could get him out of my mind but I do miss him." Note what James 1:14, 15 says, "But each one is tried and drawn out and enticed by his (their) own desire. Then the desire, when it it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has beem accomplished, brings forth death."
This man is good looking to you, ask your yourself, how many other women may have the same thoughts?
Who is special to you, your husband or this man you can't get out of your head?
I wish you all the best.

Yadda, I don't have to be a detective to know that certain members of my family and associates belong to these type of groups. All of them are nothing more then peons. People belonging to these groups are just vehicles for the big boys and the big boys in turn are just vehicles for the main character who will invite you to the top of 'his' mountain. As Martin L. King proclaimed, "I have been to the top of the mountain." What was MLK "free at last" from?
Freemasonary is just another distraction set up by the 'real'illusionists.

BB, do you think we can comprehend and digest the answer to your question? Not knowing the answer to your question doesn't disrupt my life and I don't lose any sleep over it.
If knowing the answer is a must, in what way? Curious.
