  Putting myself in "time-out."

  i think i need a time out.

  i feel like whatever contributions i may make to this board are being outweighed by the emotional upheaval participating is causing me.

  i've been taking things way too personally lately, letting posters i don't know and don't particularly care about, hurt my feelings badly.

  yes you read that correctly, but first let me say that i'm not going to learn anything (as if that would happen anyway), but i'm going to gloat.. the last couple of times i went there a few months ago was because i was being forcedstrongly encouraged (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/9/74780/1202255/post.ashx#1202255) and i felt intimidated when i went.

  now that i have become a regular reader of various discussions here, i know i can walk in there with my head held high and look at them with just as much disgust in my eyes as they have in theirs because i haven't been begging to come back to such a unloving and hateful organization.. i also want to take a good look at my step-mother.

  i know for a fact that things on the homefront have been much less than a "loving theocratic atmosphere" between her and my father.

  i don't know about the rest of you but i seem to see newbies popping up all over the place.

  i love it.

  i think it would be helpful to have a new listing for newbies to introduce themselves.would there be any problems with this and would it help or hinder the board?

  This reminds me of a story I read a few years ago. A women atheist came to believe in a God after giving birth to her first child! Everyone has their reasons why they believe in something just as I have mine. This change of beliefs/ideology is not an issue with me because I believe in choices. Guest77

  BroBennett, the forum has once 'again' given you sound information to digest. Yes, it is a touchy subject to those who have experienced abuse in one form or another. Yes, it is a touchy subject especially when a person of your attitude makes them 'feel' it's their fault, they are to blame. You don't realize how off base you are! The forum members have given you time to spout your views and in turn you have shown disrespect and contempt for their time & views. They have shown you patience and courtesy. What have YOU shown? Is this attitude of yours Christlike? I'm still waiting for my questions to be addressed. Guest77

  BroBennett, your doing your usual tap dancing. Just kindly answer the questions posed to you from formerout's post. What's so difficult? Wasn't the Apostle Paul quick to say, "Remove the wicked man from you midst?" Did Paul depend on the two-witness rule? If the org. is so stringent in following the scriptures, why don't they imitate Paul's actions, "Remove the wicked man from your midst!" Paul said, " Become imitators of me as I am of Christ."   Formerout, yes, I hope he stops in and give us his 'personal' view/s instead of being used as a puppet. He's hung up on this proactive word but it's gotten him nowhere. You would think with all the honest and informative responses from the forum something would have penetrated. It leads me to believe that the accumlative experience of the forum is nothing to compared to his. He has insulted the intelligence of the forum members. He needs to be reminded of Pauls words, " For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he is decieving his own mind." Gal.6:3 Guest77
