  well i finally have stopped to say hello.

  i have been searching this site for a few months now and finding some interesting information, for now i am still a jw, confused as ever, feeling like my life is going to end and jehovah will take all the good in my life away by joining this forum.

  i have so many concerns and as you all know have no one to talk to.

  18 years you say? Well, I've known about them since 1948! Do you think that was long enough? I don't think nor worry about the witnesses. My mom and oldest daughter are, and we get along just fine. They mind they their own business and so do I.

  basically the id theory is the revival of the teleological argument for the existance of a deity.

  L11, in paragrpah two you said, "I am no expert but when I finally went to university I took lots of science so I could answer some of these questions using information from both sides."
  
  In paragraph five the last sentence you said, "This post was just intended as a brief introduction to some conclusions reached using a few facts we can easily observe without having a thorough scientific background."
  
  Could you harmonize these two paragraphs for me, because, from my perspective I get to see two different views. Am I clear?

  this is presented as a means of re-introducing myself to the community.

  as time takes its toll and as new ones come in at almost a daily rate, it can be a little difficult for some to know, or get to know you.

  as a hope of allowing one of our new members to be better acquainted with me, i presented this as a pm, however, after giving it an overveiw while looking to see if it was read, and it was not, i decided to put it before the entire community, that maybe this pm should be regarded as not so private.

  Yes I do! I've always believed in my MAKER since childhood. This belief did not stem from going to Churches or KH. It's personal and I like to keep it that way.
  
  Job's wife asked him to renounce his Maker and Job answered, are we to accept only the good things from our Maker and not the bad?
  
  I would put my faith in my Maker anyday over man.

  Bad news from my blood test :(

  the other day i went in for a routine physical and today i got the results in the mail.

  it turns out my cholesterol is out of wack and needs to be corrected.

  (normal) numbers in parenth are what my levels should be.. cholesterol = 249 ( < 200 ).
