Anderson & Reinhardt have been handling pedophilia coverup cases involving the Watchtower Society. Bill Bowen is familiar with the firm and can give their phone number, after which they may be able to refer you to an appropriate attorney or legal firm if this is too far off their area of specialization. Bill or a helper like Don Hunt may be reached via:

And the WTS declines in lands where much accurate information is regularly efficiently disseminated that exposes the WTS, e.g. France, Denmark, Japan. This needs done more in the U.S. as well. Why not seriously work together to organize Support Groups for this in the U.S. since it works.

Relax. There are also moderate well-balanced exJWs who are Christians. Besides the exJW Christians group which appears to be mostly fundamentalist in orientation there is the Free Christians Newsletter which is for all exJWs and Friends in general. In fact for a free subscription contact jahchristian@yahoo.com. Among atheists there are also some who are rigid in stance but others who are more flexible and strive for balance. Randy Watters is fundamentalist in beliefs but has often proved very kind, helpful and well-balanced.

ATHEISM, REASONING EFFECTIVELY ABOUT IT: Your article is full of big fancy sounding words and weak reasonings. For example it claims that it's no big deal that there are indeed 4 still existing solid references to Christ from his own time period even though that's a remarkable number of extant documents, doubts the authorship of the highly reputed scholar Pliny of one, and remarkably tries to diminish esteem for and credibility of the etymology of Israel by reaching far-fetched conclusions such as it derives from pagan names like Isis. Though dissenting from your thrust, I used to be an atheist I respect your efforts to get at the real truth and below present some other things you and other sincere atheists would also find of interesting albeit of different "opine" as you say -- not just scriptures but REASONINGS:
Let's begin by noting that logically we can't see the energy source for this universe but nor would we want to as that might radiate us to death (Ex 20:33). Too, the source for this universe has provided us earth, food, water, life, intelligence, and therefore since a good father is a good provider it really is not illogical to call such a Source our Father. The word God can be used as an abbreviation for "the source of this universe that provides for us in a fatherly manner." Next note that the creative Days could have been billions of years because in Hebrew yohm (day) as in English can refer to a period as in "in Rome's day." Also early humans may have had an atmosphere which was then able to screen out fast-aging radiation better, and there may have been plants, yes, even a tree providing antioxidant richer fruits etc for prolonging life.
Too, the statement that Eve was made from a rib is no stranger than to read that men can now clone creatures from individual cells. Since we can now "resurrect" movie stars electronically, why consider the resurrection hope as a totally impossible dream? Why must scientists or anyone at all disbelive that God could float an axe on water when men today float million ton vessels in water or the nothingness of space? Too, some say the sun could not have "stood still" for Joshua, yet clouds with ice have sometimes reflected light from over the horizon. Some say that if Bible censuses of the same tribe differ that proves it and God false, but they don't note that verses can vary due to children or elderly people being listed in one census but not others that are just for able-bodied men.
Sincere skeptics may note that a verse says a certain city was destroyed in one chapter but in another chapter seems to say it was still existing, yet they may not have figured it out that there could have easily been two cities with the same name. Or they may note that one verse says Christ did no baptizing while another says his disciples did the baptizing, not noting that even today we may say a certain man build a skyscraper when in fact not himself directly but
workers on his behalf did so, so that both such statements are correct. Some will call God cruel because humans die but ask them if it isn't true that God wanted the first humans to live on forever, that He warned them how to avoid death but they ignored Him. Some will denounce that he permitted slaves in ancient times, and for this note that Christ said God had also permitted men to divorce women not because He wanted such but because he knew that to not allow it would lead to even greater cruelty, and so in similar manner He permitted but regulated slavery so that it would not be as viciously imposed as
it would otherwise have been. For more Bible-related items like this: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jahchristian -

WAS DISFELLOWSHIPPING FOR CHRISTIANS TODAY?
by Bill Parker inwas disfellowshipping for christians today?.
tuesday, december 11, 2001. .
in an effort to keep this as short as possible i am going to try and focus only a bare minimum of scriptures realizing that no one today appreciates too long a post.. in luke 12:48 these words are found, in part: ... to whom much was given much will be demanded.

DISFELLOWSHIPPING (SHUNNING), WHY UNBIBLICAL AT ANYTIME: A "majority" is not the same as "all" and so when at 2 Corinthians 2:6 Paul says "This rebuke given by the majority is sufficient for such a man," he is indicating that although he had asked the Corinthian Christians to shun (disfellowship/excommunicate) a man who had done wrong and who was now deserving forgiveness, yet a MINORITY of those Christians had decided to not do as he said.
Yes, even though probably the most influential apostle or elder of his day, Paul was still not a spiritual dictator and what he said or even ordered could be and sometimes was freely viewed as suggestions or recommendations, sincerely given but not mandatory. The Bible does not record that the minority not going along with the "majority" were in any way condemned by Paul. Yet today some groups like Mennonites, Jehovah's Witnesses etc rigidly practice shunning and members who do not do so as told are also marked or fully shunned.
Consider too the example of David and Jonathan. Jonathan was the son of the man Saul whom God had told Samuel to annoint as the first king of Israel. Saul became jealous of David and ordered everyone including Jonathan to disfellowship David. However, even though Saul was an annointed elder, even King of Israel, Jonathan still disregarded the shunning order and the Bible approves of their continuing friendship which means that God also approved it. (1Sa 18:1)
As the Bible also says there is a time and a place for everything. The apostles, appointment directly from an original living apostle etc are now all gone but what is perfect does still remain -- the power of Godly, Christian love. The words disfellowship and shun are not even in the Bible while the words and concepts of love and mercy occur in numerous places. Anyone may offer friendly counsel or suggestions about who may or may not be good association for us, but we are all simply Christian friends, no dictators allowed, and Christ is the only one spiritual Leader over all of us. (Mt 23:10) This is the Real Truth about shunning and disfellowshipping.

Some Christmas and other songs were in the public domain so re-written by the WTS for meetings. Please give me specifics if you can of which ones in the current WTS brown-colored book remind you most of the ones in your church's song book, and what the names of those are in the church song book. This could be interesting. Seems like there was also once an Awake or WT article on this...

News from Jah Christian
by radar infrom jah christian.
watchtower tv ads to counter silentlamb's pedophilia scandal: as anew wrote recently the wts may either be trying to "counter the expose' of their pedophile coverup policy which has destroyed so many children and families by running a tv ad in many areas that makes them look more pro-family, or, as charles has noted here, they may also be using such ads to show nbc (or other ers who carry lds ads) that if it does not run the expose it might be willing to buy paid-for ads -- a kind of carrot-and-stick approach.
in either case they hope to counter some of the dramatic decreases going on worldwide in overall jehovah's witness membership statistics.

Thanks for the post, Radar. I thought the news about the possible cure for breast cancer was also very interesting, but of course it did not bear directly on JW/ex-JW events except that some of us have such things to worry about more than others. Thanks, again.

Scriptures say if you put out truthful information on a regular basis it will set people free. That is happening in Japan and Denmark where organized efforts exist in the "real world" beyond the internet although the internet is also super good. In no nation will the WTS totally cease to exist but it is already hurting in major ways in North America, Europe and many Asian nations. Not even TV ads can save it due to its covering up pedophilia etc.

THE BIBLE ITSELF, not Watchtower magazine article talking some about it, was the primary study source during Communism's reign over Czechoslovakia. Now that has changed and as some have pointed out, outsiders are pouring in to "take the lead" or, more truthfully, to take over and mor closely whatever Brooklyn tells them.
This is also true in Poland etc. Poland has competiting Bible Student groups. Romania has the True Faith JWs. So there is also competition in East Europe. Even Japan has a new group called the Church of Jehovah.
NOW FOR A REAL SHOCKER! Go to the Watchtowers with statistics for the first year or two that the USSR or Russia and the Ukraine were able to give those, and contrast the growth rates back then with 2001. At one time growth was running something like 24% in Russia but has now dropped to, I believe, about 4%. Or is it 6%...all the same it's nose-diving! Imagine as their policy of covering up pedophilia is increasingly discovered by East Europeans, Asians, Africans!
