Regarding MAD APOSTATE

i wish to make a comment on something that disturbs me deeply to the point i cannot let it pass or be ignored.

a little over a year ago i resigned as an elder to protest wt policy and how it hurt children.

the impetus that brought me to that conclusion was a child i knew personally that was in danger.

Mad may indeed be a Watchtower man, and one as highly placed as the Schroeders (Albert, son Judah) at that. I based this not just on the fact that yesterday as on previous days I found him and his probably alter-ego name-entities bashing excellent anti-Watchtower posts but also on some past posts revealed in-between-the-line clues of inside-the-Watchtower knowledge and unusually heightened personal vehemence.

Simon has stated that although loathe to do so on rare occasions where the need arises due for example to probable breaking of the law, he can check the originating ISP number for posters. If he so chooses in the case of Mad, then it will be interesting to see if the number indicates New York or New Jersey although I am aware that California is another major area of their control efforts, even having Watchtower Security Inc - which also needs investigated.

As to a huge organized group against the Watchtower Society, that is and is not true. We are autonomous individuals, increasing by the day, who however can and do cooperate gladly to work against the WTS at times. The WTS doesn't exhibit common sense when they simplistically tell elders the effort is consolidated. If all the power to get things done was consolidated into, say, the hands of one person (e.g. Alan, Ray etc) or some tiny elite group (e.g. Alan + Ray etc) then the WTS would have identified, infiltrated and choked us to death long ago.

So on one too, we are laughing at you WTS. Your demise is coming because of your own arrogance and presumptiousness on point after point. Not to say Alan may not have helped mastermind many good things to a small extent with some and to a larger extent with others, but as he will tell anyone some things like the coming of our Free Christians Newsletter (free subscriptions from [email protected]) have occurred naturally without his influence that of Randy, Kent or others. When people are put under fire they tend to die or to battle back.

But returning to Mad. At times he has produced some nicely anti-WTS stuff, but then that would be expected from someone who was trying to get us to think him on the side of Christian Freedom. At others he has made transparently clear his desire to derail anti-WTS efforts. Therefore, whether part of the WTS's fellow-worker troll police, a lone ranger flamer or other is irrelevant. Simon clearly needs to seriously consider possible actions to protect the board from Mad. As a starter I recommend that he check Mad's ISP.

Prisca, I appreciate your desire to be fair but in this case I'm with silentlambs/Bill in saying we must be fair to victims even more than to this "mad" entity. But then that's me for it, the big question is this: now that the ball is definitely in the hands of Simon, .... Simon says......... what?

Or perhaps he needs some others to comment about Mad first......

the watchtower society dates noah's flood to 2370 b.c.e.

they do this by following bible chronology quite closely, counting backwards from 607 b.c.e., their date for babylon's destruction of jerusalem.

however, as we know, the society's date for that event is in error.

This verse shows yohm/day in Biblical Hebrew as in English (e.g. in Napolean's day, in my dad's day) can mean other than a literal 24 hours, and in fact can encompass still other days or time periods:

"This is a history of the heavens and the earth in the time of their being created, in THE DAY that Jehovah God made earth and heaven." (Ge 2:4)

So here all the creative days/time periods are lumped together as one yohm/day. Nothing indicates the exact amount of time incorporated into each creative yohm/day, each of which could have been millions or billions of years.

i have been a reader of this message board for a number of years and this is the first comment i have made in that time.

i have been part of the wts for 20 years my parents believed they had found the truth when i was 10 and from then on we hung to every word uttered from the platform at the kingdom hall.

my wife was a witness brought up in the wts all her life so the wts was a massive part of all our familes lives from parents to brothers and sisters.

Actually nothing prevents any of us from doing up our own letters-to-the-editors, tracts to put in doors or leave around etc. Just do it. In the U.S. photocopiers are plentiful in metropolitan areas, even in some convenience stores. Also businesses run occasional specials of just 2 cents per page, though 5 cents is also common. Do up a tract, shrink the size down to where 2 fit on a single page and its like 1 cent per tract. For $20.00 you can print up 2,000 tracts. Especially highlight the pedophile coverups.

The brothers hacked my email!

just learned that a group of jws hacked my email over a considerable period of time, hoping to intercept "incriminating" information in an attempt to disfellowship me!.

they printed up the emails and passed them out to other elders to "examine".

they were certainly very, very disappointed to not find anything they could "use".. the only outgoing emails from me they obtained were those attached to incoming mail as a result of some friends hitting "respond" when they wrote back to me.. the person who got into my email account is a ministerial servant who had previously worked on my business web site and therefore had my password.. he would download my email onto his computer, miles away, and then put everything back as "unread" so nothing would be "missing", when i accessed email from my computer.

It was exciting slinking around in the darkness, spying on members of the congregation who were suspected of wrongdoing. A question for the FBI and others involved, why do you allow the privacy rights of American citizens to be curtailed under the guise of religion? Some say the Watchtower Society passes on some of its information to you. Is that true? This Watchtower dark stuff has gone on for years.

Welcome. I can be reached via [email protected]. I also recommend you do it as quickly as possible. The WTS always spies and tries to put some kind of stops in the way. A similar campaign in Japan did have an impact. I see no reason it couldn't work in the U.K. American freedom-loving exJWs will be see how you do and will be virtually certain to follow swiftly. And so would the other nations. Go get 'em!

spy verses computer

i remember before there were computers the brothers (elders) and there little helpers would literally spy on individuals, in order to catch a person in any form of wrongdoing.

i am not making this up because my father was an elder and he engaged in this practice many times.

he would even regularly spy on me or he would have other brothers watch me and see if i was doing anything wrong.

I posted already on a similar thread but will add more here. With a name like WATCHtower it should be no big surprise. All members are encouraged to report on each other to keep the org clean. It's just another way of saying spy, isn't it. As a talker once pointed out, a Watchtower held guards who peered at enemies on the outside but also inwards at those person within the surrounded, guarded area. Franz mentions elders spying by binoculars. As far back as William Schnell in the 1920s it's mentioned. Want to be a Watchtower elder? Prove ready to do a little "detective work" (spying). Discrete and faithful. Do it, keep your mouth shut. Better to be a elder by virtue of grey hairs than a slimey creature of the darkness pretending to be Jehovah's "angel" of light.

Yes, and scattered across the internet over the years and in numerous anti-Watchtower books and in anecdotes and personal experiences are the persistent references to spying. As some of the others say it is a dark reality.

They call it being a Watchman, doing Joshua-Caleb work, playing congregation detective to keep the congregation pure, so on. If you have proof then by all means get the FBI or an attorney onto them then splash the further information that develops all over the internet by posting it here.

I notice some previous posters trying to cast some doubts in your mind as to the best course to procede with. The simplest course is best. Go straight to the FBI (fbi.gov) and/or an attorney.

This, folks, is going to be the biggie: rampant invasion of privacy. Be it in our bedrooms or our email, such spying is wrong - a reproach to the good name of God. How dare they pretend to magnify God's name or person while smearing it in the name of defending Mama Watchtower!

John, don't listen to them/him. First I say them/him because Mad may be the same person using two different posting names. Sometimes he gives some good anti-Watchtower comments, other times tries to stifle and derail good anti-Watchtower comments. So much so in fact that some of us wonder if he isn't actually working for the Watchtower.
The comment about grammar was rude or ignorant in that it ignores the fact that you may be posting from another continent where there are variations in English grammar. Mad may even have a dozen such aliases. Also, in fact in some nations the grammar is probably 100% perfect. The suggestions I gave would be good for in the U.S., Canada and probably among most readers in the U.K. and Australia, but not necessarily in India, Africa, Belize etc where English is also much spoken. Those of us who are good people thank you, and I encourage you to now take what you have written to the newspapers.
