Rado, some who visit your website from Brooklyn may be people who don't like the WTS though they work there. Or as you say they may be there working for the WTS to see what you're posting. Or both. Sometimes too JWs simply see WT Info Site and think it's run by JWs so click on it. Please try to also get us some news on the WTS etc in Europe including Holland. Maybe you could trade news with Stephan Wolf of Germany, Kent in Norway, etc. We'd like some NEW news. What you have there is good but repeats what most of the other websites in the U.S. already have.

How 'bout a UN flyer campaign on windshields?

what if we print a single page from one of the web sites that has all the pertinent info on one page, and then distribute them at night on all the cars at the kingdom hall?
this is bound to catch the attention of more than one or two in my opinion.

Also good though inexpensive are cutting a poster board down in size, putting it out of the driver's vision area in the back of a car window, and having on it a brief message like for example "Jehovah's Witness Sexual Abuse:" followed by the toll-free phone number of silentlambs.

About 3 JWs die daily earthwide from the unscriptural policy! (Blood On The Altar by David Reed) Why must anyone be endangered? JWs can form nonWTS groups united by LOVE, join another group or decrease donations & support to the WTS. Please make & use copies of this for years ahead. Stratton is not saying they can't do it but that they can't do it without letting authorities know who they are so as to be given approval. This protects people from con artists and burglars. There is no hindrance to freedom of religion. If the WTS were to beat Stratton then kooks who claim some tie to religion can go to homes under that guise then trick and steal from people, especially the most confused elderly citizens.
As shown by another poster here the Watchtower Society has long issued identity cards to JWs for usage in communities with this sort of concern, and told JWs to register with police. Therefore they have a history of acknowledging that officials do have the right to make such requirements, and their bellyaching now is therefore moot and voids their case. The Independent Baptists have been tricked by the WTS into thinking they are helping fight for freedom on this issue when the reverse is true as the WTS is against freedom to dissent without reprisal as applies to its own dissidents.

Voices of other Witnesses on the phone may indicate the phone has a hook-switch by-pass on it. It's a device that turns the phone into a broadcasting instrument. Whatever is said in its vicinity is picked up and transmitted to the distant listener even if the phone is down on the receiver. Although normally it conducts speech from the target back to the listener sometimes the switch may be put in reverse which is when the target overhears things said by those at the listener's home.
When noises like beeps, chirping sounds, or voices are heard it can indicate the presence of an FM transmitting device being used by the cult to harass the targeted party. This is why talk of "demons" often occurs among cult groups. Its really from their own leaders, an effort to scare, intimidate, train, discipline "in righteousness," play the role of "Jehovah's evil spirit," "Jehovah's Holy Spirit in action" or however you may hear it described. A congregation "angel" once told me they had nearly driven "an annointed sister" crazy and laughed about it. I wonder how frequent this is and if it isn't picking up now as the Dateline thing approaches. [email protected]
Cultists (and here I mean "real" cultists by deeds not just doctrine) sometimes also take advantage of when they know a member is gone on vacation or at a meeting to play pranks. For example, if you have been "good" they may leave you a book like a Bible you have been wanting for some time, or if "bad" they may put needles or pins in your mattress. I know it sounds crazy but there are some who definitely are crazy, who will literally do anything for "God's organization on earth"! I've heard them say "maybe we are a cult but we AREN'T DANGEROUS." I disagree. They are a danger to less-knowing, trusting members and potentially to other authorities and human society in general. (Ro 13:1)
Legends often have a basis of truth in them, including in the kingdom of the cults.

Plum irritates me too especially with the name-calling and may be a troll/poser but it is also possible s/he is simply a bit of an off-balanced wacko or a natural-born whiner. Chronologically or socially maybe even a child.
In any case, Plum, as Bill alludes to, the silentlamb's website also includes a toll-free number. Call it and you can talk to a real human. If Bill can't answer email fast enough for you staff supporters can.
See, Plum, I was nice to you...... kind of. As to Bill being a flesh-and-blood "for real" - not just a made-up cyber-persona - ask yourself if the New York Post, Chicago Sun and other papers writing about him and silentlambs.org are "fake." No, they are very real as are the lawsuits starting up against the arrogant Watchtower Society misleadership and their local toadies.
