  Why are there kitchens in KHs?

  is it some sort of charitable status requirement?

  ours was only used when the co visited and there was a coffee break at the hall part way through field service.. any one know?.

  Yes, there is a trend to remodel and put kitchens in the KHs so when Armagedon comes they can lock everyone in and make poloties until the dust clears. Something like a hurrican party... not everyone lives through them!

  VEGAS BABY!

  so, i'm going to vegas for 3 days (march 14-17) and don't gamble.

  anyone know a nice church i can sit in for a few days?

  were these gathered two by two, since in many cases only one is required to breed?.

  None of the above. I believe Noah took the "Animals", two by two. No time to collect insects or worms. They simply clung to the outside of the ark. That's why it only rain 40 days and 40 nights. They ark was being consumed by termites and other wonderful creatures of God.

  i know this is probably something most people have some sort of opinion on but i just have no idea.

  i've had paradise ingrained in me and now that i'm putting that possibility aside i'm curious.

  If you believe in reincarnation, do you believe that humans come back as humans? Do you feel that some are punished for what they have done wrong in one life by coming back as something less in another?

  Racism In The Organization

  on the surface, racism is not suppose to exist in the org.

  I have a cousin just west of Oklahoma City who married a black man. She told me they started going to the Midwest City Congregation (closer OK City), because mixed couples were more accepted there. She said many couples had taken refuge there. This was in the 80's.

  I have no clue what happens after death, I really think though, my wife and I have lived together before and will again in future lives. I have many things I want to do in this life, but I certainly am not afraid of dying.

  I have faith we are here for more than 70 years and that's it! There has to be more.

  Armageddon Dreaming...

  i had this horrible nightmare a couple of nights ago which i haven't told anyone, fearing that they'll all conclude that it's my conscience warning me.

  here's how i remember it:.

  remember the biblical prophecy that mentions when christ comes back again "all eyes will see him"?

  I did have an amazing Armageddon dream in my late teens or early twenties. It was nothing less than a true experience in my mind. The lights in the horizon were more beautiful than anything I have ever seen! "Encounter of the Third Kind" X 1000! I just stood there as the lights began to consume the sky; lights of all the spectrum. Then, a little white curly haired dog crossed my path. I ran to the dog and tried to kick it! My foot went right through the dog and he continued on his way. But, since my kick did not effect the dog, this meant that this was God coming in the lights! I was overcome by an unbelievable feeling of true love (also atainable by a motorcycle helmet with electromagnets). I always wished I could have that dream again.

  By the way, I felt sure the lights were the aliens whom set us here long ago (in my dream of course).
