Sorry to hear. The witnesses always say there is so much love in the borg. I am new here so I haven't heard your whole story, although you did say you haven't to a meeting in a year. I'm suprised the dubs haven't taken on your mother to get her to the KH; at least to get her dollars.

although most on jwd see this as a big victory, most have expressed that there will probably be many active jw's who will find it suspicious or will turn a blind eye.
Objection: It's no big deal.
Answer: Why then, did they keep it a secret for ten years, then dissasociate only once it was uncovered?
I personly believe most all things happen for a reason. How do we not know this information as come out now for a reason? I am not an evangelist, but I will not keep quiet. I sent several emails to persons I know will at least listen. Now it is up to them.

I would suggest you look into "self publishing". Almost no one will touch a work unless it has a large mass appeal. Though non-fiction is very big now for readers, you don't have a name/ track record. Plus, you will do good to get 5% profits if you go through agent/publisher.

i just told a dub here at work about the letter.
when the dub told me i was on my way out of watchtower-land anyhow, but the blatant hypocrisy just floored me.
okay, so here's how the conversation went:

it's so hard to choose, but i would have to say the theocratic ministry school was my most hated meeting.
the first few talks were a rephrasing of mind-numbing society doctrine.
then it was time to listen to a ten-year old read nwt to us........... #3 talks, don't even get me started!

When I look back, it seems so amazing to me, the sisters could get on stage and give information to each other for us to hear but......
